Basic Squire for your Basic Needs

For ICBT2 I decided I will try out my swordsman/squire build. The build will be straight forward and simple. Sword3>Rodelero1>Squire2.

The swordsman branch will consist of essentially 3 skills: Thrust, Gung Ho, and Concentrate.
I took 1 point from Concentrate and put it in Pain Barrier, but I just don’t know how beneficial I will find it. So those will be our main three skills until circle 3 of swordsman where I will grab 5 points of Double Slash.

Once, we go into Rodelero I will have to decide where to put 10 points. Right now I have 5 in both Shield charge and Targe Smash, but that may change. I will be getting 5 points in Montano though as that completes my skill combo and mainly why I chose Rodelero in Rank 4. The skill combo is Montano[stun]>Thrust[bleed]>Double Slash[+dmg]. <-- I hope it works!

For ranks 5 and 6 I will be going squire to make so money and help out the community. I have gotten 5 points into everything except arrest. For two reasons: 1. I don’t plan on tanking. 2. This character will be more of a merchant.

Love your build is a single target burst with offensive buffs. All the skills you picked up are almost instance can make a very neat combo when using them effectively.

However I would sacrifice one SP to put into Bash to get that auto knock down from its Attribute that has only 1 level IMO.

Montano[stun] Thrust[bleed]
I don’t see where it does a stun and bleed.

Montano: Strongly attack bottom of enemy with chance of paralyzing. [Stun]

Thrust Circle 2 Attribute Bleed: Enemies with [Stun] falls under [Bleed] for 5 secconds when attacked with [Thrust]. Bleeding damage is relative to character’s strength.

Double Slash: Slash enemies sidewards. Attack enemies under Bleed state for additional damage.

Hope that clarifies.

Ok sorry I didn’t read properly and I forgot that C2 and C3 they sometimes add more attributes to the skill.

Your build seems fine, but is there any reason you left Repair and Armor Maintenance at Lv 5?

I like the build since I haven’t really seen many Swordsman C3 (although I haven’t really looked at many builds to begin with) and having your Squire based on single target damage and still having a small amount of control aspects.

The only skill I have trouble with is Concentrate (unless its use got changed and I didn’t know about it) and would instead get Restrain but that’s just me

My guess that since hes a DPS he will benefit more maxing Weapon Maintenance and keeping Base Camp / Refreshment Table at max as a DPser.

@Kiyoshiro Thank you! I left both of those at five, because I want the camp and food table skills. I would love to max all three, but since I could choose only one I went with Weapon maintenance as it is the most beneficial of the three. I mean there is always circle 3.

@Garrnett Thank you! Originally I had Restrain first to to grab the faint/stun. Having a buff that gave me a chance to do the combo per hit was nice, but I saw that the percentages were low. As well, I wasn’t to keen on the two minute cooldown. Thus, the skill made me feel that it wasn’t all that great before level seven or eight. Which means I had to not only wait till circle 3 to become effective, but also I would be taking points from another skill. I know Double Slash is in circle 3, but I plan to spend my last five points on that skill. By that point I figured I just wait for Montano. Also, I like to keep it simple so if I’m just going for damage and I’ve got points already in concentrate, I may as well make it better. Instead of spreading more points out.

Even with C3 Squire, you won’t have enough points to max the shop skills (Repair, Weapon and Armor Maintenance) if you also acquired the Base Camp and Food Table skills. Maxing all three skills requires all 45 points from all 3 Circles, so unfortunately you’ll have to drop a skill or two in favor of maxing others.

To be honest it doesn’t matter because is not like you can open Repair,Weapon Maintenance and Armor Maintenance all at the same time when he’s making money while being AFK/DC.

At Squire C3 I would max out Weapon Maintenance,Base Camp and Refreshment Table If I was Saber.Having only Repair.Weapon Maintenance and Armor Maintenance at level 15 on C3 will only benefit for group PVP and group PVE (Raiding). For an alt that just want to make cash, farm items or materials, leveling one of them to max is enough.

I will probably do just that.
