Based on my gameplay preference, which path towards INQ should I go?

Currently I am playing as Cleric2>Priest2>Monk1 at class level15 ready to reset…

Throughout my entire ToS journey, I have been AUTO ATTACKING, DOUBLE PUNCHING things to death. It wasn’t easy… It was a pain. But I always looked forward to getting Energy Blast because it looks fun and awesome. But, people are always saying it is not worth it… I also dislike priest 2 gameplay because having to constantly cast buffs is annoying as hell especially monstrance. I just want to punch/smash things to death and forget about casting buffs all the time.

Initially I was set on resetting to C2>Diev2>Monk3>Inquisitor…

Then I got told by Monk3 player not to go Monk3 and rather go Paladin3 instead.

So now… Here are my options…

  1. C2>Diev2>Monk3>Inq
  2. C2>Diev1>Priest1>Monk3>Inq
  3. C2>Diev2>paladin3>Inq
  4. C2>P2>paladin3>INQ
  5. C2>P1 or Diev1>Paladin3>Monk1>Inq
  6. C2>P1 or Diev1>Paladin3>Kabba1>Inq

Of course picking the Paladin toward Inquisitor does make sense aesthetically, it feels almost like a natural job advancement.

So now based on my gameplay preference explained above, which path should I be taking towards INQ? I know Monk3 is at a bad place right now, but who knows… maybe Monks will get buffed?

Are you going for pvp or pve?

I like PvE because from what I see, PvE is the meat of the game but might dabble a little in PvP much later in the game…

Possible to do both? I don’t like the idea of a character who is “PvP only” or “PvE only”…

I just saw this video gameplay of C2>Diev1>Pala3>Monk1>Inq1…

Thought it was pretty darn good! He was using Barrier as area denial and group mobs to such great effect.

But no energyblast though… And was Monk really necessary? He could have gone Diev2 and get World tree and owl or Kabba for Ein Sof’s SP recovery… But yeah Monk’s DP works good as a filler when all skills are on Cooldown… Hmm

Yeah I think I definitely I am not going for priest.

Question: Does using Hand Knife/Double Punch on the breaking Wheel apply the debuff as an AoE to all enemies?

You can certainly do both. But if you want to do more pvp then there are certain things that will be more important. I.e. high HD, cc immune, burst dmg, etc.

For pve, your options are much more open. Only thing Is I don’t suggest Diev 1 because it won’t add too much to your kit, and neither will monk3

I was just looking at skill simulator and it really got me thinking…

Picking Monk1 at R7 seems like alittle waste when there is PD and Kabba.

I am interesting in knowing how much difference does “Healing Factor” from PD’s tree make? It is really vague, 100hp recovery, doesn’t explain anything. Does it work along with “Restoration” from Paladin tree?

Kabba also seem like a good choice with Ein Sof which heals SP? Is it possible that I won’t need any more SP pots with Ein Sof for SP?

If yes, is it better to go 15/15 Restoration or 3/15 Smite?

healing factor heals very fast. dunno how it works but it is really fast. I have no clue if it scales with hp recovery…

you can get knocked down for a while and be healing. sometimes that matters.

I don’t have a pally, but I main PD2. Healing factor almost ensure that you will never die. At lv 6, it is 100% up time in pve.

It works like this, you cast HF on the floor. The second you step on it, it takes a snap shot of your current hp. As long as healing factor is on, you will rapidly regenerate your hp until you hit the snapped number. From what I understand, the 100hp in lv1 shows how fast you regenerate your health with the skill. Atm it is hard to determine but it seems like 100hp/sec at lv 1. I got 55k+ hp and my lv 6 HF feels like it can heal me to full in about 8 sec or so.

Also, yes, breaking wheel spreads monk debuffs. It is very good in pvp.

I finally come down to 2 builds… Which one… ?

  1. C2>P1>Pala3>Kabba1>Inq
  2. C2>P1>Diev1>Monk1>Ora1>Kabba1>Inq
  3. C2>P2>Monk1>Ora1>Kabba1>Inq

What stats should you invest if you’re following the path pala > inq?
