Hi all, I want to draw your attention to this new post I’m going to do.
I call these conversations - Tosvs Battle -
Today the battle will be between:
**Barbarian**

**Paladin**

Barbarian gonna eat Paladin alive hahaha
not to mention that Barb can be either Centurion or Doppel. but I noticed that Barb and SM tree has too much offensive skills I don’t feel it’s healthy to max them all… Must boost other buffs.
I don’t know what Restoration can do for Paladin after beta test I hope they change it to something like self-only applied buff that can heal 10% to 30% max HP per sec to be useful… this way Paladin can be a real tough annoying guy as we know it.
Even with the newest nerf in kCBT3 Barbarian will prolly eat Paladin alive. Like a filthy barbarian.
1v1 the Pally doesn’t stand a chance
you guys are underestimating Paly can be monk
Barbarians are nothing in PvP
and there is no this class vs this class in ToS, it more about

I feel like want to create a Paladin actually over monk because it’s going to be underdog class for sure. I like boosting underrated classes, discovering their strengths bla bla bla you know haha
the problem is, Smite and TU is the only offensive ability of paladins, and TU can only be used on undead.
Restoration is a DoT heal
Resist Elements is a buff
Barrier is a push back. but can be consider attack but not really.
We expect to come out. then we will see who is who in the battlefield. 
By the time beta opens back up barbs will be nerfed so hard into the ground…who knows if barb will be good

Actually, the Pala should win quite easily. The reason would be the barrier skill. Since the barbarian wouldn’t be able to pass through it, he cant use his strongest asset… melee.
You aren’t talking about lvl, so I will consider that you take in both case Tier 3 Classes ?
Well, the Paladin just get eaten alive by the Barbarian.
BUT ! If we take the “best” of each in PvP… I will consider Barbarian vs Monk ? Then it’s another story : it depends on the build, but Barb just get his ass wipe by the Monk xD
Smite is very strong… I saw one palading spamming smithe dealing 5k splash damage… Not sure if he even mastered that skill but its great skill and it does not have long cooldown either…
Plus this attribute.
Inflict damage of 50% of physical attack when enemy flown in air by [Smite] falls on the ground.
honestly I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss a paladin, considering all of the previous class skills would be present paladin may have levels in Krivis which also adds Zaibas as an offensive skill. In addition to the safety zone out of cleric.

Barbies just have enough firepower with their auto attacks (including buffs + passives ofc).
Yes, Paladin can be a tank but it’s core is being a buffer: a support melee attacker, at best for group vs group. Unless you corner the barb with Barrier, and Zaibas, then come at him with Safety Zone and Smite lol
Then everything boils down to tactics, gear, cheerleaders, and latency.
Yeah never mind I am not sure a paladin could win against a Barbie. She has way more classes than just a rank 4 and she is made of plastic.

Barbies are gods of pve, just because their damage is high on AI mobs doesn’t mean it works on players with brains.
besides barbarians are getting another round of nerfs.
