This is the build I’m aiming for. I’m thinking on going high dex for this build, maybe 3 dex : 1 str or 3 dex : 1 spr. Any help as to what I should take over what and why would be very appreciated.

I think you should go for this:
30 spr and keep mana potion you will never ran out of mana
4:1 dex/str
Leather equips
Good to go

Don’t even think of basic attacks, just spells all the time 
Why cloth, wouldn’t plate be better?
Barbarian is a speller
You get closer use all the skills you have, they all will be critical dealing a lot of damage.
High dex = high evasion, leather will boost that evasion, since evasion works even for magic damage in this game, it’s something pretty overpowered to have.
Plate reduces physical dmg and that’s all. 
u need to do what i said above, go plate and dont go full reta… full dex

i need around 170-190 crit rate, at least 20k HP and the rest go for str

Physical damage skills is one thing, thats not magic its Physical Skills xD
Magic, elemental, psych, energy, etc, magic cant miss xD

And they will laugh at you, as soon as you reach level 200+ xD.
Never go full one stat in any builds ^^.

You can dodge big boss AoE attacks but those aren’t considered spells.
Magic cannot be blocked or dodged in this game.
Broken? Yes, maybe, possibly, very much so, yes, definitely.
This is the main reason magic users are top in PvP.
Also I’d like to add that if you go leather for the set bonus 3 and 4 the bonus it gives to dodge has nothing to do with DEX values.
It’s your level. You gain dodge bonus based on your level and with leather armor you just gain a little bit more bonus to dodge.
Plate bonus is more health and % reduction in physical damage and with pardoner scrolls you can reduce it even further making plate a lot better later on.
Leather is good for a character that wants a lot of STR since they lack a lot of dodge from DEX. Yes a dodge means 100% damage nullified but you need so much evasion later on it’s hard to keep it up without heavy sacrifice.
Leather is good for archers who naturally go for a lot of DEX and even gain a bonus to evasion anyway, so it works for them.
1+ DEX is
- 1 evasion rating
- 1 critical rating
- 1 accurancy
At level 500 you need about 158 dodge rating to have 10% dodge.
At level 500 you need about 600 critical rating to have 50% crit rate.
You can only reach a maximum dodge of 80~85% in ToS because of how the requirement rises exponentially.
