Banning Gold Sellers (huge issue with reporting images)

It’s kinda scary how easily photo-shopped some of these can be. You can literally just right click anyone’s name in chat, crop that out, take a snapchat of a gold seller spamming, then paste the cropped image.

I don’t think this is the right way to ban gold sellers, there are too many holes and may cause a lot of complaints later. (Ofcourse, I’m ASSUMING IMC is banning gold sellers through this method, If I am incorrect please correct me)

(Now, I am not saying the pictures in the link are false but that it could easily be abused if you just want to troll).

All chat should just have restrictions (such as a level 50 restriction as mentioned by others). This way, when some gold seller spams (which will pop up less often) the GM’s can ban on the spot.

I threw mine in paint but yeah I understand your feel on how someone could Photoshop… I would think you would have to put your faith in the community of members who actually are actively helping which I think is rare I was trying to start to help people realize they can actively help instead of idly sitting by to maybe help inspire some people to actually start reporting. There is defiantly the possibility of someone photoshopping but im certain the GM’s actually look into the account before banning someone. That being said most of these accounts they take one look at and either see its a false account (ie hacked account) which are the perpetrators to begin with. Safe to assume the GM’s know what they are doing gotta put faith in the team.
