There are reports of people offending other players, calling bad names and polluting the chat. Those people don’t deserve to play the Beta. We’re all here to Report Bugs to make the game better!

While I agree with your idea that disrespectful people have no place in a beta test, I feel as though that if they were to ban, for example, the person you mentioned, then they need to ban everyone who has said something that could be considered offensive. In addition, since many people seem to be very easily offended nowadays, there could be fingers pointing everywhere at everyone; utter chaos. This is probably an extreme example, but eh. I think the best way is to just ignore these people and let them disappear on their own. But what do I know, I’m just a normal person like everyone else.

Rather than banning them for being ‘disrespectful’, have the ability to completely ignore the user. Chat, whispers, trade, invites to anything. Being ‘disrespected’ can be anything that you don’t like and has too much of a grey area. Banning should only be a result of big no-no’s like cheating (bots, duping, hacking, etc). If you’re being harassed then I would report the user with screenshots of the name, time, etc. These are the areas I would be comfortable seeing someone banned. All other things CAN result to timeouts if severe enough.

An Ignore List will be an awesome addition. Always needed in any game that have a chat system!
It’s usually the trolls who wander these parts right now. They will wither away when the game becomes official, trust me.
I’ll stand by my argument, the more people, the more rate of trolls. Unless they’re dealt one way or the other, it will just pave the way for many more. I’m not saying banning is the solution, but a way to at least ignore them, that has to happen.

Mutes would be nice. At the same time, if random shouts and comments gets you edgy/triggered you probably shouldn’t play mmos. Just be the bigger man/woman and brush them off.

Could of sworn there was an block list in-game in the friend management tab. Friends list is buggy atm though.
from what I see, people in the game and the forums are offending each other for no reason at all…
calling Brazilian “sh!t” and such… really? “Well, i do agree that brazilian are shitty people” Is that really necessary? even if you hate them just grow up and ignore them.
same with other people if someone is offending you just ignore him.
Unfortunately we got a lot of childish people in this community. 
Oh and I think people from both sides should be banned, not just Brazilian, but oh well it’s not up to me.

To piggyback on the stereotype that Brazilians are disrespectful, ruin the game/play and not reporting bugs. I’m pretty sure every demographic has a similar amount of bad players.
If we get worked over a Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian etc yell on a chat board then we’re scummy and xenophobic. International versions are prone to have sizeable non-English speaking audiences.
And if many Brazilian players for example are simply in CBT to play and not report issues they still have a roll in stressing out the server, providing play data and statistics.
