Even thought the monster are low level and he is 200lvl… I love crossbow + dagger combination.
160 levels is a pretty big gap haha.
I also love crossbow + dagger combo, but the classes using them need some lovin honestly.

Very old video… They have been buffed Rogue backstep skills and the dagger he uses might just sucks.
- Rogue: Backstep – When attacking an enemy’s back with this skill, if a critical hit applies, it will be applied 4x.
I know backstep was buffed, that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a single target skill. It’s not designed for levelling, I’m sure it will rock on pvp if you can actually get into position ( which shouldn’t be hard with cloaking now ), but again it seems to be a pvp or boss only skill, and if boss that’s with a party so you can actually have the boss not looking at you.
Believe me, I was a very big rogue fan and want it to work but as is I don’t see it working
CD of backstabbing is now 10 cd… not 47 second anymore… 70% critcal chance with 1469 damage + 2 strikes is pretty huge for 10 CD. You might be still right because the skills takes too much Sp for just leveling monster and its might annoying backstab enemy while leveling.
That sounds more promising for sure, I’m glad they pushed for it to be this way.
Do weapons that have aoe work on skills? Maybe that’s a way to save backstep?
I don’t know, I’m thinking maybe archer( or archer c2 ) into quarrel shooter ( or QS c2 ), into wugushi into rogues.
I was thinking scout more, but scout doesn’t provide much in terms of damage. Problem is, you’d need to go into c2 of wugushi for the gu pot, which seems to be quite damn strong and it’s a ground based aoe so it’ll help with lvling immensively.
I’m still trying to puzzle this one together, if you have ideas how to make a rogue work I’d be happy to hear them man since we seem to be fans of the class why not help one another ^^
