B2P vs F2P: Options

Alright folks I got a problem: I AM DEAD BROKE.

I’ve got 40 dollars in my bank account and I require food, drink, and gas. I don’t get paid til next friday.

Now, I could wait until next friday, then purchase a founder’s pack and get a late start on the game. But that would suck–I don’t want to be the late coming noob amongst a bunch of founders. God damn I hate being that guy.

Or, I could wait until free to play opens then just purchase the tokens (I’m not going to play with the nerfed f2p option). But then I won’t join the founder’s server because I don’t want to be the guy 30 days behind everyone else.

But I also get the sneaking suspicion that the f2p server might suck a lot more than the founder’s server. I don’t want to be playing with a bunch of f2p kiddies.

What the hell do you think I should do? Cuz I dunno.

If you can’t wait buy now, if not, wait f2p to buy the tokens…

Alot of non kiddies are going to play on f2p server…

I agree it’s sad you are facing money issues but despite what seems to be the consensus right now General Discussion is not the player bases personal blog.

Inference is a difficult thing.

Just seeing what everybody thinks my best option is.

  1. Come in to founder’s a week late.
  2. Wait until f2p server.

and back to your question:
i think both founder server and f2p server will be filled with kids
you think there will be fewer kids because they need to pay?
what do you think pocket money is used for? :stuck_out_tongue:

If you are the kind of player that wants to “get there first”, buy now.
If you just are really eager to play, buy as soon as you can.
If you can wait, wait for official launch.

Oh, and that’s not it. It is not that people don’t understand what you are asking but rather why you need to ask it (and here in the wrong forum. Off Topic is further down the list).

At the end, you as a person with a job, are clearly able to know if YOU want to wait 4 days to play, 8 or a month.

At the end of the day … to me the best thing to do it buy 9$ pack… or just wait to F2p… a lot of the time ppl from the founders pack going to jump on different sever due to friends they want to lvl with … and dont trip if u jump on founder sever ppl mite want to help u out … to get u into there guild or just to have new friends… :slight_smile:

ps… im dieing to play and waiting tel the 29 is killing me :frowning:

Yeah I just don’t want to get left in the dust by all the early grinders.

I know how these smaller MMOs work. TONS of people on launch, racing to get lvls/gear, etc.

I only have a few hours a day to play and want to get in early so I can keep up. For pvp purposes and such.

I might be able to throw the 9 bucks for launch I just can’t buy a token. Otherwise I won’t have any gas in my truck.

I just get a feeling that there will be two separate atmospheres on the servers. I want to be on the founder’s.

Honestly don’t worry to much about it, even if you join a week late it’s not like you’ll be the only person coming in late and you’ll hit the Level cap like everybody else in due time.

PVP right now as equalized gear so as long as you have a decent build and leveled your attribute you’ll be alright even if you joined late.

Drop the ‘drink’ for water, go for cheaper food items.
Get the $10 pack.
If for some reason you absolutely must have those $10 then steam has a refund policy.
Full refund for any reason up to 14 days after purchase as long as you have not played the game for more than 2 hours after purchasing the founder pack.

If you can’t manage that, then I would start Friday.
You don’t want to be stuck on the 2nd server.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the 2nd server will be less… English friendly.

(I say 2nd server, but if they have ~enough~ founders, they may open another founder server a few days late, which would be perfect for you)

Its hard to be broken. (Students dont have lots of money)

But. I buy that 10usd Option first. And a few days later (when my boyfriend gets his money ) he will buy that big pack for 50usd,too.
160tp for 10usd doesnt seems to be a Bad deal. So more TP to spend.
Token a few days later or not is not a big Deal for me.

You can buy all 3 packs and they will sell them till the 27th april (or + - 1/2 days dont remember)

So Thats an Option,too. Buy the small pack first. And a few days later the big (and/or middle) pack.

And you can buy tokens on the market with iG silver.

But I hope you find a solution for your problem :smiley_cat:

Concentrate on what’s important. You need to eat and rest well. I suggest you survive on the $40 till next week. For your next payday, budget yourself. Analyze first if you can afford buying and playing the game. This game is not as important as your real life.

I myself have had some monetary issues. I wanted to get the $30 package but had to settle for the $10 since I had to use my budget for other things like my family and the house. Life’s tough, but I don’t think a game should decide whether you eat or not. You come first, this game can wait.

I’m not always poor I’m just broke. As in, I’ll be golden next paycheck.
