After seeing the chat, it seems like the gold sellers usually advertise their stuff with a wall of text. So I’ve thought of some ways to limit this
Here are the conditions for chat-kick;
-Writes the same thing 6 times within an hour - must contain at least 150 characters - 4 hour chat ban
-Writes the exact same thing 10-15 times a min - 1 hour chat ban, if it doesn’t stop gold sellers, at least it’ll stop chat spammers
Megaphone:
The exact same thing cannot be sent - will give error
Writing similar wall of text with slight aleterations can only be done 5 times,
If the offences exceeds the minimum amount the log will be sent to a GM where he or she can decide what to do from the following
-chat ban for 10 min/1h/4h/12h/24h/7w
-megaphone usage denial
-send logs to higher ups so a possible account ban can occure
It doesn’t have to be exactly how I wrote it, but doing it this why should reduce the amount of gold sellers
I hope IMC could implement something like this, the gold sellers really are annoying!
