Attributes w/ Percentages & Flat Numbers

Hey Saviors,

I have been surfing around the forums and could not find a single thread that addressed attribute percentages and flat numbers in detail:

Attributes (Percentage & Flat)

  • The attributes that enhances correlative skills by a percentage, does that particular attribute scale with stats or are they independent and only set to enhance the flat damage of the correlative skill?

  • The attribute damage that enhances correlative skills by a flat number, does that particular attribute scale with stats or are they also independent and only set to enhance the flat damage of the correlative skill?

  • If they do not scale with stats then is it because the skill itself already scales off stats. (Ignore if attributes do scale or if both the attribute and the skill itself scales.)

I have been curious about this because it will affect the outcome of most plans and skill builds people have made on TOSBase.

Skills with [Physical] tag scales off your physical attack, skills with [Magic] tag scales off your magic attack. Some skills also scale off certain stats on top of that (i.e. Cure damage scales off both magic attack and INT, so every point of INT will give you 2 damage).

Enhance attributes (the one with 100 levels and increases skills by percentage) increases your final damage.

Example: You have 100 physical attack and you use a skill with 50 attack and level 20 enhance attribute against a monster with 70 defense. You will deal (100+50-70)*120%=60 damage.

I don’t recall an attribute that increases skill damage by a flat number, but if you’re talking about the buff enhance attributes (e.g. Concentrate, Blessing, Swell Arm, etc.) then it doesn’t scale with anything. Those buffs gets added at the very end of the damage calculation.

Ah okay, so damage enhancement attributes do not scale off stats but only increase the final damage of the correlative skill while the skill itself relies on our stats. Gotcha~

I am referring to buff, debuff, summon, and damaging spell/skill attributes (just the Enhance ones).

There’s only very few I came across, but here is one example that I could find/

  • Swordsman

There are quite a few attributes that enhance buffs by a flat number as well—such as this one:

You can find them all here:
(Too many to copy and paste here. :disappointed_relieved:)

Thanks for the clarification~
