[Attributes] Cartar Stroke

Which Attributes should I get for Cartar Stroke?
Also, what’s the difference between the Knockback Attribute and the Non-Knockback Attribute?

Can someone also explain the Collision Damage?

I’m really confused. :l

It won’t let me edit my original post. (Keep getting an error.)
But I wanted to add this in.

“Does having Knockback cause more hits while it knocks back?
or would having No Knockback do more hits since they would remain in the same spot?”

When a mob hit by cartar stroke hits another mob or a wall, it does extra damage. This is the greatest part about cartar stroke, so the remove knockback attribute is actually pretty bad. The extra knockback is useful, as it can cause enemies to hit a wall that’s farther away, or have them ping pong between two walls for extra damage.

I found that due to how the server is and lag the additional knock back damaged never worked will. I removed knock back in case it doesn’t kill and can use another skill quickly to follow up

The Remove Knockback attribute also decreases the number of hits when it’s on. Try it out on a boss monster.

what knock back does is get you kicked out of dungeon groups.

I don’t ever join groups though. xD
I am always the leader of whatever Party/Guild I form.
But, thanks for the info.

I try it in knockback and when cartar hit mob just knockback and take one or two hit. But with remove they take 3-4+ hit. Not sure for boss about decrease hit. But in dungeon knockback is really bad

Bosses can’t be knocked backed, so when fighting against bosses, leave it on. I have it off against mobs.

Actually.

Cartar stroke needs to be seen as an old school ro skill.

You knock back enemys. Into other enemys, both get extra damage on them. And the one hit by the kocked back enemy, will hit another again if possible behind him.

I tested it out with an aoe ratio of 12.
Moobed the max amount of enemys which is 25 (9 for me 9 for the pet + some stragglers. Whihc where idle~).
I grouped them up neatly, and face in a straight line towards them.

With increased knockback the range is really high. You can swipe an whole mob with a level 1 cartar stroke, just 0,5 seconds cast time. But each mob will only be hit once… then the cascade of the hits on hits against their brethens starts.

As for dungeons as the level 50 one.
There’S just not ENOUGH mobs to be had to do it. As their hp is way higher then normal mobs.
BUT if you mob a side corridor it still works xD.
Or if you face towards an wall. You can take out a big tanky enemy, trough knocking him towards an wall.

Normally cartar stroke hits for about 4~7 attacks. Regardless of which level you use …
With the knockback into an mob it’S like 25*X times.

Deactivate the knockback if you cant use it well. And activate it if you can use it well.
It’s player skill to be trained.

I farmed like this in egnome tenet chappel area…

One mob gave about 20~30% when i was at their level . I leveld up at an minute tackt xD.

Probe tip: if you set your enemy between the wall/edge/etc and your sword with mack knock and collateral dmg, when you hit the enemy with cartar it will be pushed to the wall and get hit constantly for huge dmg and most will die
