Attaque Coquille

So Attaqie Coquille gives a debuff to enemies.
“Ignores defense by using Pierce-type attacks.”

It is my understanding that the enemy needs to be attacked with a Pierce after Attaque Coquille to activate the debuff. The debuff itself lasts for as long as the skill dictates. So far, I understand all of this, but here are my questions.

  1. Any Pierce attack will activate the debuff? Like, even a non-skill pierce?

  2. Once the debuff is initiated, will it only affect Pierce attacks? Like, will their defense be 0 ONLY to Pierce attacks or any attacks?
