If only this actually WAS bait, then that would mean the swordsman tree is not terrible lol

I stopped seeing no-peltast swordies in dungeons and missions at around level 160 or so. Prior to that point, you don’t really need a taunter (or a party for normal grinding) anyways, so I can see why lots of no-pelt swordies were able to reach that point but not reach much higher.

I stopped seeing swordies in missions and dungeons, even pelt swordies, at around level 230 or so. Well, I saw one every once in a rare while but that’s like, one every few days despite doing 3 missions a day. Before I quit the game, at least.

I am a no-peltast swordie and i have stopped around 200 because there is nothing at Dragoon that excites me, is not an interesting task going trough a grind walk only to reach that, all the skills are so meh, it’s a pretty boring rank compared to other rank7 classes (kabbalist, warlock, plague doctor, musketeer, canonner, etc.). And which other option do i have to fullfill my dps build? Templar.

I’ve seen a handful of no pelt swordies, but more power to them I think.

I like seeing no pelt swordies, such rebels.

Someone in silute actually spread the rumour that u need sword 2 or 3 to be decent on pvp. Seriously I hate that so hard because they only make every thing difficult. They don’t do proper dmg, hold aggro or have utility. They just share exp with you.

Being a cleric and being focused by the boss on a 4 man sword party is hard cause it means you are the higher dpser there and also has to keep everybody alive.

I’m a cleric and I like it when bosses aggro me, I find it easier to manage my own HP.

Beimg focussed by the boss means the swordies did not buy a single attribute level of provoke which should already be enough to top a cleric as long as you are not chaplain. In that case provoke 2-3…

Actually, there are no-pelt swordies even at 280. And I have such a char xD

you can’t, most non-pelt/non-corsair swordie ONLY relies on mission/dungeon to even level up so yeah have fun

I have some 260+ dragoon frens and 2 maxed doppel fren. And corsair shinobi. That doppel dmg tho… == spin4win

lets all be honest
lv 200+ swordies w/o pelts gets carried all the way to 280 by other classes
the only reason they are there is becuase of the exp bonus

Does this go so far that a Sword with pelt can go to a grindspot alone and ask parties around to get non-pelt Swords dropped?
