My original post for this thread is below. Apparently this post got some attention from GM MANGO and he decided to contact me ingame. Here’s how our conversation went:

Mouse Mode Issue: They have been working on it and it’s in QA process. Should be implemented within 2 patches.

Stealth not working against guildmates in TBL: They have been trying to get the dev team to work on it. He’s just a GM.

GvG: Can’t give exact date when it’s coming back, but promises that when it’s implemented again, there will not be unfair advantage such as only Klai guilds resetting while Orsha guilds not resetting. All guilds from all servers will reset.

Revenged Sevenfold: Will pass on the idea of making the cool down longer and the duration shorter.

AFK Necro: Understands that this is an issue in every TOS version but it’s difficult to enforce here because it’s so easy to make new accounts. KTOS requires phone number, address, kssn, etc. Will talk with the team to come up with a solution to prevent it.

Events: Agrees that last 3 events before this current one was better and players liked it more because it allows for faster leveling of alts. Agrees that current event is not as good.

My response: Look at your latest patch note. There’s no real patch or new content, but players don’t expect that every week. At least put in the patch notes that you are aware of the issues that the players have been posting about such as mouse mode issue. A simple “We are aware of the mouse mode issue and are currently in the process of a fix. It will be implemented in the next few patches.” Just any news to show us that you care and it will go a long way.

It seems like they are really clueless with the lack of communication and lack of fixes even though players have been reporting bugs for weeks like mouse mode not working properly.

Learning from RO, it’s their income that they care not player numbers… How RO is still there? because you will see players with costume that worth $500 on its character and they display it on Vending character…

The sick part is its not dying, even though we lose players every month they are still making money hand over fist. Ive watched countless players the last few days sit in Klaipeda at the TP npc buying and rolling those cancer gacha cubes, last week we had people buying Hanbok Costumes by the dozens to sell them for silver and/or shards, when those stupid premium emotes came out how many morons snapped those up, shout was full all day of people WTS or WTB them.

Nothing will ever improve here b/c the whales have been hooked and will blindly throw their money at Mr. Kim. Its why every patch notes update is 98% TP Shop Additions 1% Misc. Visual Glitch Fix and 1% Loading Screen.

Whales will only stay as long as there are people to “impress”. Whales have big egos and only spend because they want to look cool. The moment they realize that the servers are near empty, they will stop spending.

i quit (sea) ro back in 2005 and i dont even play iRO
but 2017 RO still very alive.

all of us can quit TOS and doomposting but TOS still gonna stay alive til 2037.

nothings gonna change.

i have lost all faith~

For weekly ET runs with a few friends.
At least mobs spawn is faster in iRO…

I’d have to disagree with this. I think even IMC knows this versions population is declining and due to jtos they know that the game is not bad and they could do a lot better.
I think even they understand that by fixing pressing issues with our version they could increase the population of it and increase the profit they are getting compared to the easy profit they are currently getting.
I bet even the profit from jtos which is most likely ‘‘exponentially’’ higher than ours tells them that.

Having some sort of income from this server and some people who still trust and believe and want to fund the game enables our version to still exist.
If all funding ended here there’s no guarantee that the game wouldn’t shut down and that we would ever have an international version for the game again.

People claim here that the funding of the game is the problem here and that it should stop so that they would acknowledge the real issues within it.
But would you really continue a business that you’d have to pay for to exist instead of having profit from it.
Even after fixing many pressing issues with the game after it had shut down here, there’s no telling that they would be able to find a publisher here or that they would want to risk their finances by trying to reintroduce a business that already once went to bankruptcy.

The only hope our version has is the hope of them wanting to make more profit out of our version by trying to provide us with overall better service. When the whales die, our version dies, not the game nor the company.

I’d also want to address the ‘‘IMC doesn’t care’’ thing by saying that it would be a very bad business decision from them. Simply ignoring everything and choosing to not do anything anymore as their profit is sufficient to them from our version already, just seems odd to me. I don’t think anyone chooses to accept a certain amount of profit without trying to increase it, if they have the means to do so. Then again if they don’t have the means it doesn’t equal to them not caring. I hardly doubt that everyone in the company is so clueless about business, even with all the issues around.

Last, I had to rant this out cause I keep reading these same things over and over and don’t always agree with everything there. (I do agree with most of the issues etc.)
If anyone disagrees with what I say here I’d prefer it if you’d state reasons and politely argue with what I say instead of just calling me a white knight and part of the problem, which is not true.

Theres nothing to argue, not a single thing has changed or improved since April of last year and the game’s steam charts numbers have been in the red for over 85% of that time. IMC is still making money, as long as that continues as they do not have a publisher to pressure them nothing will change.

You can have whatever opinion you like, thats fine, we are living in reality on ITOS though, we have the same bugs now that we had in beta, they cant even fix gvg or mouse mode, 0 class balance, bots/afk farmers galore, market inflation higher then ever, credit card warriors galore, facts dude, facts.

That’s not true, even how minor the improvements have been there have been some, like the optimization improvement early this year. Whether it should have been even better at launch or not, it’s still an improvement.

I can’t even do ET in TOS.
There are too many restrictions and requirements.

I don’t need to be elite and whallet geared up in iTOS to enjoy Endless Tower.

Seems logical to me. It’s free money for them, it’s like right now, you’re not doing anything, but you gain money from it, it’s already better than nothing in the first place.

They do try to increase it, though.
They increase their “free” money income with full gacha and costumes updates (which are already existing on ktos/jtos, not like they create them for us), so of course they’re already increasing their benefit.
