I came to realized something after I started playing my 2nd character… (I refused to create a 2nd character due to how time consuming this game is but in the end, I did it and my 2nd character is now my main as I got sick of my 1st character.)
My first character was a cleric and it always bothered me why I have to pick 1 or 2 ranks of certain classes just for their “utility”… I wanted a Monk3 but then reset into C2-P1-Pala3-Mok1 for Inq, but then there are also some builds that recommend extreme combination like “2-1-1-1-1-1-3” to be effective like CL2-P1-Diev1-Monk1-Ora1-Kabba1-Inq3. All those ranks after cleric2 is basically filler ranks just for Inquisitor3.
I stopped playing my cleric and now main my swordsman who is SW3>Cata3>Goon3… I realized I enjoy playing it so much more than my cleric.
Every rank up feels like a real upgrade instead of just picking skills for utility. I feel excited to pursue the next rank in anticipation of unlocking a better Trot/earthwave or unlocking my Cata3 skill, Rush.
So I realized why I am enjoy my SW3>Cata3>Goon2 so much more and it had to do with class combinations. Even on my cleric who is 2-1-3-1-3 build, it still feels like I am picking filler classes just for utility and I dislike this style.
Now what are some viable class combinations that can go “3-3-3-1”?
