Ask about cata c3..regarding build around it

hi! i am really interested in playing cata c3 but i have confused which path should i take…between

sword 3 > cata 3 > dragoon
or
sword > pelt > hoplite 2 > cata 3

can you help me which one do you recommend? and maybe the pros and cons :slight_smile: anyway sorry for the newbie question…looking forward to your help :slight_smile:

well first build is meta PvP, and second one is a variation of PvE goon.

well some people care about 1v1 cuz its about pride and epeenor. but if you care about gvg/pve at all adding pelt to sw2 should work. hop1 is overrated. stabbing great for PvE but its not really good at all for a PvP build.

since ur full dex i think u realize what 18% evasion would do for you.

pelt1 hop1 for PvE. id go with sw2 pelt1 for PvP. sw3 is meta PvP (but like u said bloodletting OP). also u can use 1h spear when u get dragoon if u miss hop1.

pd bloodletting resist to restraint. lack of cc from sw3.
seriously, sw3 just for gungho lv15? doubleslash lv5 ?
sw3 is overated for pvp
afaik, Restraint only good during 1v1…

this is correct, but pvp wise sw3 cata is still much better than pelt hop. Pelt hop has like virtually zero decent CC and only lvl 5 pain barrier. Sw3 has lvl 15, which is really good for cc resist.

its not the restrain that make sw3 good its the pain barrier imo

SWORD (C3) CATAPRAC (C3) -----> DRAGOON (C1) WAIT…WHY DRAGOON FOR PVP?

Dragoon dont have any CC, and his skill hit only one target and its hard to hit…

why not use SWORD(C3) CATA (C3) CORSAIR (C1) or DOPPEL (C1) or SHINOBI (C1) Whatever???

because shinobi skill cant be used while mount? and most of the dmg skill of doppel and corsair cant be used while mount haha…if doppel cyclone can be used…it will be fun xD

I think you can use Hook and Haul from Corsair

yes thats too but i prefer dragoon since it works well with cata than corsair haha…

anway thanks for the input guys…i might take sword 3 pelt cata3 haha
