As a new player on a different server one of the things making me not want to continue to play is the 7 days of no trading

I understand this is enabled to prevent RMT, but RMT is still going to happen. They’re just going to make bulk accounts and trade that way. The only people you are punishing by doing this are the new players who want and need to make some extra silver. I’m currently at lvl 135 and I still have 4 more days until I can buy or sell on the auction house and it’s ridiculous.

I sent a message to support hoping they could remove the restriction and they told me that they aren’t able to remove it. I have a hard time believing they don’t have a way to go into the DB and change my account type. I also have all 4 founder packs (1,2,3 and 50% pack 1) bought back when they first came out.

tldr You really need to change what qualifies someone to trade. A plain 7 day restriction is awful and can be easily gone around by RMT sellers by making multiple accounts and waiting.

I believe there are the chance they are checking for “suspicious” automated created accounts on those days. Hard to put on practice tho =3=.

Also its just 7 days, no matter how much i look back at the days i started ToS i can’t imagine myself with enough silver to even look at the market

i find it fine, it has always been a tradition where the real players must suffer to prevent or slow down bots and gold sellers sure it’s hardly a solution but it’s better than allowing them to trade on their very first day.

I find it mind boggling, that it is acceptable to punish innocent because of guilty.

Or is it just me?

It would be ideal if they had a record of purchases and sales of the players included the items sold and their respective prices, something like the last 30 days, and if they found something wrong could punish / banish through it.

Unfortunately they choose to use the method that disrupts players, placing limitations like this or the delay in receiving silver.
