Armor enchantments through Class Masters

I thought it would be neat to have class masters be able to enchant your equipment to add certain unique stats that benefit the class.
For example, you are a Priest and go to the Priest Master to enchant an item.
It can roll one random abilities from a table with different abilities that are beneficial for a Priest class, enforcing skills or improving skill levels.
Something like “+2 to random Priest skill” or “Halves the cast time of Ressurection”.

These enchantments could be purchased through Talt based on the rarity level and star rating of the item.
For example:
Base Talt cost = 50 for White Items, 100 for Blue, 150 for Purple and 250 for Orange + 10x Star Rating of the item

Every enchantment attempt would lower the item potential by 1 (similar to alchemists awakening).

My idea was to first gather good ideas from the community about different unique enchantments that could be provided for every class.

I think a feature / mechanic like this makes itemization more interesting and could provide a decent boost to underpowered skills of certain classes.
Talt would also gain more impact in the game other than just for guilds.

What do you guys think?

I dunno if devs care about abything but moneys from brand new buy-our-dlc-for-50%, but here’s another idea. You may find it a bit heretical, but still: BUCK THE TALT! Talt is for guild upgrades. Stop b1tching around it.
You want specific class enchantments = do some specific class stuff.

Make new class thing (like bracelet or necklace or armband or buck some ponies in butts), make new class quest, make class thing upgrade through doing specific class sh1t.

Buy priest class untradable thing, goto dungeon, do 10.000.000 healing, get priest thing random awakening boost.
Buy fighter class untradable thing, goto dungeon, do 10.000.000 damage, get fighter thing random awakening boost.
Buy archer class untradable thing, goto dungeon, do 10.000 crit attacks, get archer thing random awakening boost.
etc.

And make 3 conditions:
1st, boost level is bound to item’s grade. 1 random upgrade for white thing, 2 random upgrades for blue etc.
2nd, item’s grade is bound to class advancement. White for C1, Blue for C2, Purple for C3, Orange for something extra special or like 0,1%, 0,5% and 1% random chance while awakening specific class thing .
3rd, specific class thing advancement is avaliable only in specific dungeons. So no cheating like easy runs in level 50 dungeon.

Because one and only thing you’re demanding here is “gimme bonuses for talt everyone with moneys can buy” and other buy2win sh1t.

Interesting input, thanks for pointing out that it looks like a demand to make talt more useful.
It was honestly just a proposal and not a refined idea, the main idea is to have class specific item upgrades, everything else around it needs brainstorming.

The idea with healing done / dmg done seems nice, accept class master quest which rewards you with untradable enchantment class orb that you can use to upgrade your items on that specific class master.

Talt is Talt. Its already a players currency because of high sell-to-npc price and dev’s trade restrictions. All I’m saying is “no buy 2 win please”. You’re buying 100 TP, get pack of enchant scrolls, sell enchanted hair costumes for talt. Good ones (1-2 per 140 TP) can be sold for up to 400 Talt. And your idea was simply “buy TP” or “make an high level char to solo farm low-level dungeons for Talt”:slight_smile:

Nothing new can be done here. For example, I stole that idea from few of my games (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197987479990/ ).

For valuable proposals we need to know engine’s restrictions.

Aaand, btw, there is skill enchantment gems in game, btw.
