Doing meaningless thing is called wasting time. It was not wasting time when I spent 200 hours to get a high level character with the build I wanted. I could still happily play this game after that. You cannot say these 200 hours are meaningless because the result is good. But if I spent 200 hours and everything was good until I clicked wrong when I chose R7 class, that was wasting time.

For myself I didn’t screw up my build, but I really know the feeling that character ruined after one single click.

Spending 200 hrs to create a character that is nothing but data that can be lost or deleted in a instant, is wasting time. Games are a waste of time. That is what they are designed to be time sinks.

Because you sound like a person that doesn’t even know the basics.Whenever you decide to change your class.There are 2 steps:

Step 1

(When you click on the class you want)

• Select your advance class

Step 2

(A window that pops up and ASK YOU ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE CLASS YOU WANT)

• Confirm your selection

You fack up 2 times if you “missclick” LMAO and you deserve nothing because it gave TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHANCES TO CHANGE YOUR MIND.

Do you when know how stupid you look when they give you a second chance right in front you and you mess that up LOL.

Opps sorry, I’m full support PD and I love my build. Guess you will be disappointed. I’m just one supporter of the author. This is just a game why you guys seem so serious lol. Though I don’t need class reset, I don’t mind if there is one because many people really need it. Most people here only care about what they need and never think about others.

1. I am not interested in yours or OP’s in game classes, I am focusing on this forum thread and the reason behind it.

2. Those people who really need it that you mention, are mostly people who regret picking that particular class, too busy/lazy to reroll like everyone else did. Cry on the forums and ask for a reset. That’s what I am focusing on.

3. I care about how the game’s core design/functionality. It’s meant to be played that way, so play it that way. As others mentioned, no one is the special snowflake here. Why would I care about your silly reasons when you are suggesting something that goes against how the game is being played.

If you really want a rank reset, they can easily edit your character back to for example Rank2. Then you level it up all the way again. Might as well reroll.

B4 the server open, I did research for my build every night(work during day time), so that it would save my time when the server open by not making stupid advancement. I do not need to make a post like this, and I do not get any people pop-up to curse at me. We all have sth to do, but if you did spend a little time b4 doing sth to check if it work or not. This kind of post will not happen. Therefore, I will disagree with you; you should go create new character, and this time spend time do some research b4 choosing it.
I do spend time check and research class b4 choosing, so if people do not do it, and complaining wasting your time. I do waste my time too to check if the class is the right class for me. Thus, suck it if you an idiot!

Also the thing is that the game gets patches on a weekly base and classes can be nerfed (Balanced) or buffed.So you never know if your current build will be good or bad in general.There isn’t really a good or bad build really because things can always change.

Don’t delete your character just yet but start over another one and if for wtv reason you feel like playing the other one then do so.

How about my case? I took cataphract c1 at rank 4 solely for riding the mount. I don’t even like the skills (except maybe for impaler, lol). I did it because while playing, I found out how frustrating it is to run out of stamina with no trees around. Needless to say, it ruined my c3 peltasta dream because ranks 5 6 7 are already earmarked for squire - squire - templar. Here’s the kicker, ktos is implementing a mount for all classes with the exact amount of utility (just moving, not mounted combat) I needed from the 1 rank I sacrificed for. If this mount comes to our version of tos, would it be out of line if I ask the dev team to let me re-pick that 1 specific rank without touching the rest of my classes?

Good old days when your actions in games really had consequences and you had to use your brain once in a while… *sigh *
