Generally, there are no wipes during open beta. Only closed beta wipes.
Use the search function at the upper right, not google. But yes, there will be wipes. Hopefully they don’t if there are more closed betas. But when open beta comes out, there definitely will be wipes.
they only wipe stuff during alpha/closed betas. open betas are…safe!!!
Personally, I wouldn’t assume anything unless we have solid/valid verification that a wipe is/isn’t going to occur after Open Beta. But that’s just me.

The question was not only toward ToS, but Wipes after open betas in general.
But i guess i can be 90% sure that there won’t be an wipe after the open beta, thanks for the reply.

some games have wiped after open beta. all depends on the game flow and how they want to do the level progressions
I would say goodbye to your characters tomorrow (the beta ends tomorrow?) just to be safe.
Edit: Oh, you said open beta. Hm… I don’t remember server wipe after the Trickster Online open beta.

Closed beta always wipe. They could be testing EXP rates or something. That mixed with the limited access of closed beta give players an early advantage over others. That’s why closed beta wipe. Though when open beta comes I don’t believe there will be a need for a wipe but…who knows. There could be.
I wouldn’t mind an open beta with a wipe (and increased exp rates). Many people have not had the chance to test out builds yet.
Well considering KCBT had closed beta where anyone could register in the beginning and get into the server, I assume and hope this will happen in ICBT as well.
Hm… They should let us know if there will be a wipe after the eventual open beta then, so some us can not waste time playing the game only to lose all the progress later. An ugh @ increased exp rate.
If you have a beta key you are able to get into every upcoming beta. The key is only to give you access to download the game.

Even if there would be wipe after OB, there should be some sort of compensation. No need to fret over it.
It is very likely that the Open Beta will wipe, otherwise it is just a glorified early Full Launch.
That said, anything in this thread is absolute speculation, and is not verifiable in any way until we get an official statement from the developers. Keep in mind we don’t even have the rest of the CBT announced, let alone finished yet.
All depends in the point were the Cash Shop starts selling. If the Cash Shop stars selling in the middle of an Open Beta, the posibility of a Wipe is basically non existant. If the Cash Shop does not open till the full launch, the posibilitty of a full Wipe is very high. The reasons are marketing and profits.
