Are stats points useless?

So far I have test several classes and the main issue is that stats are mostly useless. Ex:

  1. My wizard with 46 Con has 7.200 hp while my warrior with 16 Con has 11.200 hp.
  2. My wizzard full Con do almost the same damage that my wizz full Int.
  3. My cleric full HP heal almost the same that my priest full Con.
Now, I know that melee class use to have more hp than range classes so let’s say that is accpetable (it is not but whatever), but the real question here is: Are the stats points doing any difference in this game?

stat are not useless , just only STR and INT that underwhelming by another (especially INT)

oh yes, and DEX is overpowered now…

DEX is the only broken stat at the moment. And yes, it’d be better if they had a somewhat bigger impact on the game, but given the crappy damage formula, it’d be hard to leave the “real” stat allocation up to the player.

  1. Warriors have more initial HP and is prolly wearing plate set.

  2. Heal doesnt increase recovery base solely on your mattack. Friendly target’s mhp takes huge-ish role

I am using plate with my wizards since there is no need to use cloth, so the armor have nothing to do with this.

Early game cleric spr, wiz spr, archer spr&str, swordman dex. When u get c4 u should change stats depending in what class u are going to play with.

you get a 10% bonus on int and str each time u rank up, so at rank 10 you ill have 100% bonus, at lower level dex is overpowered, but for the real end game, str and int are the way to go i think.

I bet DEX being op is nothing more than a fad.

Have in mind that for this beta the cap is at 200, so skills with raw 1k dmg pre-crit are definitely overwhelming. But one thing’s fore sure, it’ll eventually fall off soon enough.

This is exactly the case with zaibas pre-lvl 80/90
(Assuming you have zero level dmg attribute and are not leveling with INT).

My point exactly!

Ok, most of those comments are wrong, I am playing a 170 wizzard rank 5, 140 warrior rank 4 and some other lower classes and I didn’t need to reset my stats since the beggining. Now, I never recived any 10% bonus over any of my stats, I recived stats bonus yes but still they don’t do anything so great for the damage/hp/mana. And yes, Dex is totally OP.

Depending on the class you play. For wizard C3, INT affects your spell damage significantly as your spell has low base damage but high number of hit. Also, with the 50% bonus damage from quick cast, int scale greatly with that.

You only receive stats bonus for STR and INT, which is already included in the number shown (you will realize that for every 2 int you invest, you will get 1 to 2 bonus int when you are at rank 5. 1 from the rank bonus, and one from the stats bonus).

All we have are (educational) assumptions, but you were to brash to make a conclusion, when it’s in fact way too early to make one.

On a sidenote:

Dex dont add dmg.
Dex ain’t saving you from magic.

That means that SPR is OP: it add dps through skill spam and also adds magic defense.
Also tanks should wear cloth armor and attribute it to max (for even greater magic defense!!!) <- this is not a joke.

Get things like Jalia Kite Shield that has 40 Magic Defense on it, several items like that and I would think you are set. Just have to switch out items depending on your current needs. Hopefully there will be even more item diversity as the levels get higher.

It’s not op; there are cooldowns and you could also archieve the same skill spam with SP potions.

So you spent a few weeks playing the game and still you didn’t notice how the game works congrats.
