Are Barbs still OP? I remember posting on here about 5 months ago and they were considered way OP. Is that still the case? I read online ppl would put all points into dex in order to crit to get the overkill exp bonus. Is that still in play?

People realized full one stat builds are a bad idea.
Why are full stat builds bad? Full stat builds have the most status points compared to two or three stat builds.
It’s because you either become a glass cannon that dies before making sensible/worth it DPS or you become a meatshield that can only tank either only Physical type attacks or only Magical type attacks that do no damage at all.

maybe yes for solo play, but it will shines in party play especially with umblical cord
Too bad Barbs are not good in terms of DPS end game. Do a research on kr forums no wants want to party with a barb that can do dps and die fast. specially on earth tower runs they are pretty useless.
Barbs are still good for bursts, take a look at seism’s base damage, it’s comparable to a rank 6 damaging skill.
Is a skill that almost no one takes and is also widely considered bad. So that is not helping the full stat argument. Also the farther you get in there are a lot of AoEs that will one shot single stat builds. And thats just pve if we talk pvp single stat builds get even worse.
full stat build for entire party members is bad?
full str swordman, full spr cleric, full int wiz, full dex archer, full con swordman linked with umblical cord will get all full stats so they will get maximum damage and survivability
That party would only exist if you made it with friends and then if you ever partied with anyone else but your pre constructed group you would be ■■■■ and dead weight
If you’re going barb you may as well get a balance of con and DEX and STR anyways to be a tanky bruiser because you have enough raw damage buffs without the STR attribute that you can afford to focus on survivability.
And barbarians are getting a buff next patch so allowing them to cast more skills overall so they don’t have to rely on STR damage.
