Are all class allowed access to mounts while in combat?

Any class can use a companion, but only certain ones like Cataphract and Schwarze Reiter can mount them.

So if your a Cataphract 1 and switch to barb or other class as your next class should have the mount skill as well right? meaning almost any class can ride a mount while in combat.

That’s right. I’m not sure if it’s worth wasting one rank just to be able to mount, but your choice I guess.

Tou probably can do that, but companion “consume” lounge slots.

I thought all classes could mount pets, but they couldn’t engage in combat??
maybe I’m wrong lol

As long as that class has the attribute that allows you to mount then yeah you can.
I think all companions will attempt to help their owner in combat.

I hope there will be mounts that you can’t use in combat but everyone can use them to mount on them and travel with them.

I think actually the attributes should allow the combat/attack on mounts and not the mounting itself.

I was able to get a companion in the 1st iCBT. (One of my main goals during the 6 day test xD)
I was a Peltasta and my companion would attack any enemy that I would attack or if the enemy hit me first.
Well, we don’t know what they will put in the future, but mounts for long travel doesn’t sound too bad, it’s just that there are the statues that allow you to teleport.

Well it’s my personal preference but I would like it more if there would be less statues and we would travel with mounts.

Kinda makes you wonder what look they’ll give em if they do decide to add them. Hahaha

I saw Steparu as Psychokino ride a mount during the first cbt, we’ll see if this time we wil be all able to ride companions :c

They removed that right after the 1st kCBT.

And that all companions help the player in killing enemies?

wait i thought everybody can mount a pet as long a you got a pet the could be mounted
but not every class can fight while mounted
and not all skills could be used while mounted

too much mounted on that one

Used to be like this during kCBT 1. Has been changed ever since.
