I tried dueling an archer just 1 level above me (126) as a swordsman and I could barely hit him. And then he just kited me and I couldnt touch him. He even went invis and then unloaded a huge barrage of arrows. They have too many advantages in pvp for it to be fair. Invisibility, insane dodge rate, insane damage.
What is IMC gonna do about op archers?

Edit : As a main Archer, is a pain to level up sticking with only single/dual target skills (building pvp Archer) so my reward is the pvp strength
Swordsman are not the dankest meme right now so yeah.
What they need to do is to at least buff swordsman so they are on par with the other classes. Probably having a better chance at PvP is when you only have a Cata in your build tree.
Agree they need a nerf there weapons do 20 more damage then a 2h sword of the same level and they have the best aoe abilities that don’t even have charge time. As for the pvp aspect I just believe more classes need ways to deal with cc.
Swordsmen are just a weak class in pvp at the moment… But 1v1 isn’t meant to be balanced for pvp - try arena when they open it.

the most obnoxious pvp builds involve Bokor ,Cleric C2, Druids or Diev
especially bokors, once your tagged with hex your basically doomed lol.

i once dueled a peltasta when i was 50
took us an hour before the peltasta gave up.
i setup a bonfire near him and wait for him to skill and i spam twin shot. in the end i just Z + alt tab so it will keep on auto attacking while i am watching video.
he used up i think 20+ pots while i only use like 5 and the rest regenerated on bonfire.
so unless we have a way to penetrate the block of cleric (stone buff) and peltasta block then we can never win but a peltasta cant win without high accuracy but cleric can win because he’s magic base
so you lost to an archer 1v1? better nerf them then.
