isn’t the missile debuff bugged? i rarely see the debuff icon on monsters.

There’s two parts to the debuff. Each arrow reduces def by 10%, and once in a while you get a ‘defence/block penetration’ debuff pop-up at the enemy and the enemy receives a debuff icon for 10s.

melee archer are trash tier, that 's why no one cares about it

lol the only reason people want mergen is for the costume (best costume in game rn, gotta wait for cleric r8) and for that gif of the girl chasing the bunny

r8 will come out 3-4 months later

Im not here to disagree with you but it really seems unnoticeable during gameplay especially when using a skill after some arrow basic attacks. Im really hoping that the debuff is more consistent with that popup or if it is indeed bugged it gets fixed asap. Lowering defense by 50% seems like it would have a larger impact to me than what im actually getting in game. ( I have a QSC3 and a Scout C3 so I put a LOT of arrows in enemies.) Im assuming that there will be a passive attribute to allow you to place more arrows in enemies or even enhance the Defense debuff, when hack comes out.

I also don’t see why hack is instantly trash tier, I guess when something requires actual thought its an instant turn off compared to “Hit all the things super good”

Yes, since enemy defence is low. If you reduce 50% of 80 defence, you will only hit 40 more. Surely no class is trash tier. Even hunter AI isn’t trash. Hakkapalle will fullfill its job of stacking -> burst damage + debuff.

Depends on your preference whether you’d like to set-up for damage vs easy to confirm damage when the dps is the same.

I’m excited for sword stat bonuses + crossbow combo.

Reducing 40 def is only 40 dmg if you are using a skill with no attribute, no crit and only 1 hit. -40 def, with crit and 50% attributes, is equal to about 90 damage per hit. For a skill like Snipe, -40 def with crit and 50% attributes is 360 damage.

Also, most lvl 220+ mobs have 200-300+ def, while a World Boss like Rexipher has 743 def.

How about the possibility that that spread shot is a buff than can be viable to running shot imagine crossbow plus secondary then you kneel + running + that spread shot(mergen class) can you imagine how op is that? If given with sacra enchant fire and cafrisun youll see 5 lines of damage spreading

Attributes have been modified as follows.
Keel Hauling: Enhance; Fixed issue where it did not apply properly.
Life Line: Residual Defense -> It has been changed to "Life Line: Nullification Enhance"
Arcane Energy: Extra SP Usage Reduction has been added to the Additional Damage attribute.
The problem where pressing and holding the “C” button made the item skill animation play repetitively has been fixed.
The problem where monsters did not appear in the “The Assaulted Historian” main quest has been fixed.
The problem where the Fedimian General Store NPC Portrait was displayed abnormally when you accessed it while a quest was in progress has been fixed.
>Archer Basic Attack’s tool tip has been changed to "Missile"
Steady Aim effect will only give bonus damage to missile type attacks.

Archer Classes:
-Archer classes resistance penalties against monsters of certain sizes has been mitigated.
-When strenghtening bows and crossbows, resistance is mitigated on medium-sized monsters by 2% per upgrade up to 20%, and on large-sized monsters by 4% per upgrade up to 40%.

The introduction to todays patch goes over a recent bug with monsters spawning on a particular map and people interacting with them for some fun silver rewards and whatnot, If you’re hip and with it i’m sure you know what i’m talking about. Those people abusing said bug have been punished and have had silver confiscated & account restrictions applied to the account for 60 days.

Skills
The scenario where Sapper’s Stockade was not hitting 3 times has been fixed.
Attribute - Shootdown : Crash Monsters will now take additional damage from cannon skills whilst the they are on the ground.
Swift Step now applies effects to party members aswell. Evasion increase has also been added to the skill.
Shield Lob + Throwing Spear - The Decreased resistances have been taken away from these skills. (uncertain - otherwise, mobs blocking the skill has been disabled)
Missile attacks on the enemy reduces physical defense by up to 50% ( 1 stack/ hit = 10%)

Another patch in which the missile penalty was reduced more. Currently -15% vs large and -10% vs medium.

I wonder why no one like Hakkapalle. I think it’s interesting one.
They can stack arrow debuff up to 7 arrow (70% def decrease) can use combination attack with skill like Skarphuggning (i think it can combo with scout/rouge/ranger skills) and can ride companion(don’t need sr in build)…

I think Mergen really interesting. But I really afraid about hp of monster around the map at rank 8 (right now just monster around the map at rank 6-7 > 50k-100k aready). I hope this class will have good dmg scaling as rank 8 not just can normal move while shot or can attack many target with same power as rank 1-5.

i m looking forward to see full skill of hackapell
but what really bug me atm is not many skills in archer tree support mount
only Basic Archer, some QS skills, Ranger, some Wugushi skills, and Fletcher
we dont even know would Crossbow + 1H sword weapon restriction be hackapell exclusive like SR, Cannoneer and musketeer
and being a melee range archer, more CON would be needed
couldnt really theory craft a Hackapell atm

It won’t be passive. It’s going to proc on auto attacks like auto blitz did in Ragnarok.

If it were a passive then you could just combine it with Stealth and barrel hiding to let your Falcon kill stuff while you’re in zero danger in pvp.

It’s not going to work like that.

Maybe also Necro1 for decay (slog/dirtpole) on the Cryo3/Chono3

& for the last slot
a. Pelt/Rodx/Drg2 for more dmg amplification…
b. another SR
c. an ele3/wl2 or sorc2
