Archer multishot bug - CONFIRMED

At the moment when holding down multishot skill the “level charged” shown only started counting when the bar is full instead of level charging while reaching full bar.

I have tested releasing it when the bar is full (before the animated level is full shown) and noticed the bug that the arrows being shot out is for example:

  1. Bar just touches full however the animation on the arrow charged is only 3 and it shoots only 3 arrows out.

just fyi, this is caused by lag.

I know because usually I have 30 ms ping to the servers and when there’s no lag, Multishot will reach level 10 when the bar reaches full charge.

But if the server is laggy? Then it acts like what you described in your bug report.

The funny thing is, you can actually use this to measure lag.

The slower it takes for Multishot to charge, the laggier the server is.

My guess is that the client and the server acknowledge EVERY SINGLE charge level of Multishot before it’s “allowed” to go to the next charge level. Very dumb programming by IMC.

it literally counts slower as time goes on and its been like this since release.

This behavior is caused by high server load, impacts EVERY channeled ability the same way

It is bugged. my ping is low but when i uses multi arrow skill the bar touches full and the lvl showed above is lvl6 right after full charged. When u release it, it only shows 6 arrows out. i’m using a lvl15 multi arrow skill. It only happens after the latest update released.

What is the sense of putting a charge bar for multi arrow if that is not the basis of recognizing that you reached the maximum charge of your skill level?
I hope they can fixed this as soon as possible.

Lag instead can be

  • high ping by high internet traffic (would be shown with ping command)
  • besides low ping high server calculation requests (or whatsoever will delay sending information back) (not shown by ping command)

activating a skill will send a request to the server “im using”.
if it was ping the server would only tell you “fine, if you want to” but nothing happens.
but instead the server calculates the channel time, while also calculating your position, the mobs, other players, inventory, maps, you name it. all these stuff delay your charge up.

You can see this by trying on a different map, reacting with a different speed.
Empty channels dont equal low server load as many other maps are hosted on the same server. in a worst case you would have a klaipedia 20red channels on the same map as like where you want to level and you are the only single one player present.

It’s not bugged.

As other people have said, this happens due to the lag. I’ve noticed that when everything is running smoothly this doesn’t happen at all and this is actually my way to check for lag when i log in.

All skills that need to fill a bar to use higher levels have the same problem.

The problem is the lag in certain maps, not skill bug. I have the same problem with a lot of skills of my fletcher in certain maps, like dena bee, alemeth…etc
