Coursing - your companion wouldn’t move at all after using this skill. Until the duration of the coursing haven’t ended yet, the coursing won’t stop even if the mob is dead.
Rush Dog - Idk if it’s bugged, but randomly attacks anyone, not the one you targeted. Also wouldn’t attack sometimes if you use it. (needs fix not bug)

To be updated, only taking C1 since hunter is not fun at this time, quite buggy and ai needs to be fixed, mostly, sorcerer is a much better choice rather than hunter

Rush dog snatching and coursing always attack the mob nearest to you

Yes, I know, and that needs rework, and I experienced a bug where I used coursing and my pet wont move at all. I need to relog before he moves.

I just liked it because of the stun from rush dog lol. Quite nice, enough to land some combos, especially if you are a wugushi.

When using Coursing your companion will for its full duration, no matter if the mob is dead, and then follow again

Rush dog stun seems to apply always, no matter if it hits or not which is a good thing, cause it can hit when the mob is stunned ^^

In some occasions pet completly stops and waits, without using skills. You can try F9 -> send away and recall.

Still you are correct, companion AI is broken beyond repair.

Yes, I agree with you, also in some occasions where the pet completely stops and waits, even if I do try sending him away and recall, it just won’t work, I need to disconnect and reconnect before he moves xD.

The class looks so interesting and all, but the bugs make it pretty much impossible to be played. And the companions really do stop from time to time and not move at all, mine basically does nothing inside dungeons, even with full health and stamina… Forget about the skills, if at least the basic functions of the companions were fixed, it’d be great already.

And what about the ridiculous slow motion mode when the pet try to auto-attack ? Or when he go crazy trying to land skills like coursing, rush dog, retrieve ?

It’s actually the main reason leading me to stop play this class, waiting for IMC to fix that.

for me retrieve is a bit better than coursing, since it doesn’t seem to bug for me and also does not seem to stack with coursing, so i usually only use rush dog, snatching, and retrieve on dungeons

I am actually clueless about retrieve, rush dog attacks the nearest target, coursing seems bugged since it would only stop using the skill until the said duration, for the auto-attack yea, he is slow as hell, for now, he’s a waste and a no, combining him with scout is a good idea, the only thing I am curious about is how does his skill damage scale, is it only based on the skill level (e.g. rush) and wouldn’t scale even if his level is high enough because I can’t seem to find the difference between a lvl 1 pet and a lvl 100 pet with lvl 5 rush.

Haven’t tried retrieve but it seems to be a good skill, I am wondering if you used it on a player wherein if the player would be able to use pots or anything else while the skill is active.

Retrieve does way more damage than Coursing, at a cost of having less duration.

Retrieve applies the debuff ‘disable’ which makes it impossible to attack or use skills…I think you can pot though.

Explaining at high level, pretty much, though Coursing and Retrieve cause different debuffs.

Coursing causes the coursing debuff (level 10 CC) while Retrieve causes the disable debuff (Level 1 CC).

Coursing does less damage for longer duration while Retrieve does more damage for shorter duration.
