Archer Full Draw Instant Cast Analysis
Psst, guys, let me tell you a secret. Everybody’s companions stay there in the arena even though the owner is dead. No companion is immune to knockback, right? Maybe, just maybe, we can use them as our secret knot. Then, uhm, pick the skewed companion as a target and the other skewed person’s any kind of reduction will be useless. Tell me if it’s not possible to do tho lol
Confirmed it’s the best way to skew swordsmen.

Also, can immobilized enemies attack, cast skills and even change the way they are looking at? Since there are some other skills that snare enemies I am interested in, this would be valueable information! ^^
When they try to move, they stay in spot but spin. :joy: It’s best used when a cleric casts Heal and you blow them away.

does skew split damage? or does linked mobs take full damage? also do u mean that level 7 is needed to skew at instant cast? much confuse, very wow ,_,

The Skew should split damage AFAIK. The only purpose to the Skew IMO is the immobilization factor.

OP meant that at level 7 Full Draw, the skills will allow you to instantly cast a level 1 Full Draw by pressing the button which allows you to skew an enemy immediately instead of fully charging the skill.

Yet, the one who tested it, @WatchGintama said:

Which we know that enemies that are linked with Linker Joint Penalty take full damage and share it to linked enemies, which cause them to take amazing amount of damage against AoE attacks.

And just like what @jochris said:

If the Skew split damage instead of sharing the full damage to other skewed enemy, then the effect of Skew resembles Linker’s Physical Link but we apply it to the skewed enemies rather than Linker’s Joint Penalty.

o.o when it comes to damage would you say archers are right behind swordsman’s?

I actually think the Archer class is ahead of the Swordsman class in terms of damage but that’s only in terms of single target damage burst potential. Swordsman are like the Jack of All Trades but Master of None. You can play Single Target DPS, AoE DPS, CC Tank, etc. But you won’t really ever have a fully specialized class tree like the other classes (or at least I haven’t found any that I thought were that great).

All of this however is subject to change since IMC is constantly changing class skills to balance things out. But if I had to rate things in terms of Damage, I’d say Archer for Single Target and Wizard for AoE. Swordsman are in the middle of both so it’s a very good compromise IMO. Of course this is only if you build towards those things and as such you can have a full Support(Buff) Wiz, an AoE Archer, and a Support(CC) Swordsman, etc. (I’m not talking about Clerics because they’re similar to Swordsman but it’s hard to describe).

Take my opinions with a grain of salt however since the game isn’t fully out yet and I’m just basing my opinions on a weeks worth of in game experience (not a lot) and theorycrafting in the skill builder.

Thanks alot for explaining I was really curious.:laughing: I feel archers are going to be pretty good late game…usually “weaker early” classes are

I uploaded a video example to my youtube channel.

can you move while charging full draw?

Yup, you can even move while holding the charge.

too bad full draw skewer lower you damage to 1/3, so if you normal attack does 60, instead you do 20 ~_~

this is with 2 enemies, i’ve never seen how much lower damage if 3 enemies; so this skill is ■■■■ for AOE replacement, its more like a utility bind =_=

does the decrease defense attribute work on single non skewer target and how long does it last?
and does it work on boss too?

I have tested a bit but it seems that it has no effect on defense reduction at all

same here

it doesn’t show any msg… like deprotected zone shows def reduction

Just to update, it no longer an instant tap in the iToS version

i guess it’s time to take it back down to level 1 and pump up other skills then :unamused:

Too bad for me, I actually reset my skills to get it to lvl 7…

guys anyone knows what CC lvl is Full draw? thx alot!

@greyhiem tagging you master incase you know it
