So i’ve been playing with Archer C3 for now,and it doesn’t seen an effective build because of the lack of a AoE burst skill since Rangers have barrage they look a lot better than Archer,apart from the lack of AoE burst Oblique Shot takes too much mana if you spam it and if you don’t go a full SPR build you’re pretty much screwed,but i like the critical rate increase from swift step,so if you’re playing Archer C3 what build are you running with and feel comfortable ? Is it worth it ? Share your thoughts
Currently their lack of AoE makes them really hard until rank 4. Also their 1v1 is not the best either so, they are lackluster to say the least.
It’s better to stop at C2. You get both the attribute and Swift Step 10 is good enough to keep the uptime up.
It depends though. What do you plan on doing after Archer?
I’ve gone c2, and c3 on different archers. I don’t think c3 brings all that much to the table. Oblique Shot is fine at lvl 5, and good at lvl 10, you don’t really need it at lvl 15 ( the SP cost increase hurts too ). Twin Arrow is just a slightly better oblique shot on a cooldown, and not worth taking. Heavy shot is great ( bonus damage vs plate, but isn’t weak vs leather ), but you also only really need it at lvl 5. Swift Step is only lvl’d up for it’s buff duration, to keep the crit rate up, so getting it beyond lvl 7 is just for convenience. Kneeling shot is for bots.
I went c3 to go wugushi, but before I went c2/sapper. I really wish I had taken one rank in sapper instead of archer c3 for my wugushi, just to gain more AoE damage.
That being said, I went just enough DEX to crit often, and full STR with a bit of CON. Never touched SPR, and my oblique shot / heavy shot spamming was ok. I don’t really believe in these full SPR builds. It was nice running through the royal mausoleum one-shotting everything with heavy shot, for sure.
When I see that people go Archer C3 my brain hurts.
I was thinking on going for Scout,but it’s anothre class that don’t have an AoE spell so basically i’ll be useless till rank 5
You actually need it at level 9 with the crit attribute since it adds 5 seconds to the CD.
i’m playing archer c3 full spr and its awesome, oblique shot spamming, full draw and multi shot are great too. i dont know if i go for wugushi c3 or scout>fletcherc2 tho
