You might find easier help on Wine forums since, ToS do not offer support for Linux, and I mean the staff support, they won’t be able to help you on that.

I still didn’t test here but game seems to run way better (and use way more CPU).
Is your system getting too high load somehow while playing ToS?

correct that it lunarrabbit, higher cpu load .m aybe that what causing it
Is it running somehow higher than 80-90% or still at ~60-70% usage? Did you enable CSMT on Wine Staging settings? Did you try lowering ToS settings? Disabling Optmization (Beta)? Tried wine 2.6-staging?
