Anyone seriously considering Cleric 3?

15 point heal
+
10 point divine might

= 25 tile heal? Am I doing that math correctly?

That could be a massive boss nuke, plus a ridiculous amount of party healing. Now that healing has 2 charges, I was wondering if this is an idea other people were getting excited about. I’d love to see the screen covered in those healing squares.

Plus then at rank 4 you’re ready to transition straight to paladin where you can start investing in the HP regen aura making you a healing machine.

Worth giving up the benefits of priest/dievdirby support capabilities?

I am seriously considering it, I will try this build:

This is CBT so is perfect for experiments :smile_cat:

I was under the impression that there were never more than 5 tiles at at time even at lvl 15.
(thought I watched a vid where it didn’t at least… never played though… haha)
I’m still considering it though for the high damage! I’ll find out this beta!

(you dont go over 15 levels of a skill

DM is best used for the circle 3 abilities which you can only level up to 5. The only way a character can use circle 3 abilities at max level is getting buffed by DM)

post redacted due to Kiyoshiro video proof of DM over leveling. But I dont think IMC will retain DM skills that go over lvl 15+?

is Death Verdict can kill boss in a raid? :confused:

I am pretty sure it will not kill bosses

i hate the fact that there is no videos on reddit or this forum about weird builds like this … so please when you find something interesting post it here and on reddit so we can see it and give feedback about these builds

Nothing because Korean cbt3 only started yesterday and icbt starts at Tuesday. Give them time to play more and experiment.

I am considering going Cleric 3 -> Paladin 3. Could someone site me a source saying skills cant go beyond lv 15? Because if so, I wont level some Pala skills beyond lv 5 [Like the resistance and restoration skills]

i’m thinking of abusing DM though, get lvl 1 of utilities and i can just make them lvl 6 with just using DM o.O example is the Carve Vakarine , Safety Zone , Fade

and DM cool down is pretty low

Well they changed the skills a bit in CBT3 so we would need to test it out ourselves in the iBT to see how DM really works.

Skill max lvls depends on what circle of the skill you first have access to it and what circle you stop at.
Skills accessible at circle 1 will have a max lvl of 5 at circle 1, new max lvl of 10 at circle 2, and new max lvl 15 at circle 3.
Skills accessible at circle 2 will have a max lvl of 5 at circle 2 and new max lvl 10 at circle 3
Skills accessible at circle 3 will only have a max of lvl of 5.
Example
Heal has a max level of 5. If you become a priest afterwards, heal can only have a max level of 5. However, if you progress to circle 2 cleric, the new max level of 10.

Interesting note: Skills points are transferable within the same circle. Suppose you spend only 5 of 15 skill points at circle 1 paladin then you can carry those 10 extra skill points into circle 2 paladin. However, skill points are not transferable between different jobs. Meaning Cleric skill points can only be spent only on cleric skills.

However, you can still improve the performance of skills through attributes. Attributes are just important as skill level because it can improve the damage/buff or changes how the skills acts.
Here is a link if you want to make skill simulation of your planned path.

P.S. You can over over the max with divine might but i heard the scaling is bad
Let me know if what i said helps :3

So yeah, skills can go over lvl 15

We were discussing if the skill cap could be broken using divine might [+1 to +10 skill level].

Anyways, thanks for the answer

Also, in case the OP was asking if cleric 3 was being considered for CBT, then I am out as I am not a beta tester.

Yer, ill go cleric3, and put some points in all the skills to test things.

Thanks dude. I am really looking forward to it. BTW, just wondering, Pala / Sadhu ?
In case you go Pala, STR or INT for damage??

Can someone please explain to me this:

Does it mean you have a 1 tile with 25 tiles stacked over each other? Or does it mean you cast a 25x25 tile heal?
I think from the video in this reply

That it’s the first but I am still confused… if I pass over that 25 stacked tiles do I consume all 25? Or just 1? Or just as much as to get my health to 100%?

@Sonyqt

Thanks so much for that link. I’m thrilled that skills can go well above rank 15!

@Karjalainen

Next time you’re just speculating, make it clear that you’re guessing. I was upset that 25 heal wasn’t going to be a possibility based on the way you phrased your response. You’re only damaging your own credibility by acting like you’re sure about things when you’re not and you end up being wrong.

@cosx774

Since DM is a cleric circle 2 skill, the max we will be able to get it is level 10.

@Bhoot

I would go int just because it increases heal damage.

@Mathspy

I have no idea what a 25 tile heal would look like. Haven’t seen it in game. I would guess that there would be some overlapping though because 25 heal tiles spread out all over the place would just be ridiculously unweildy.

I’m guessing this means a level 25 heal? If I’m doing the math right, taking the numbers off of this: http://www.tosbase.com/database/skills/40001/ the equation for the attack power of heal where x=damage, n=level, 35=base attack power at level 1 would be x=35+((n-1)*8). So a 25 tile/level heal would have an attack power of 227. I think… Lol. This doesn’t take into consideration your Int stat.
