Idea would be to cast your decoy doll, and when you get hit teleport and joust a magic enemy to silence them and have them bound so you can use rush on them.

You cannot use clones while mounted.
Neither Mokuton or any of the shinobi skills, really.
I think it’ll be hard for you to find a cata-shinobi in the forums, but if there’s one, I hope he can clear out more info for you.
well you can cast and mount, the question is more if you keep the buffs or if they work while mounted cause running at people double slashing with 5 clones flying behind you could be scary xD
Maybe if you use clones, then mount, the clones will copy double slash.
But I don’t see that being a very effective combo. You’re missing out on other skills that could be cloned by getting Cataphract instead of other classes (like Rodelero 3 with Shooting Star or Highlander 2 with Moulinet).
Also, if you try the combo you’re talking about, the clones will be left behind once you hit Trot and start charging into battle. They won’t get the Trot buff since clones don’t really copy your buffs.
pretty sure they teleport to keep up if you out run them and get teleported when when you use your decoy
Just tested and they don’t really teleport to you if you get too far just from running away. They do teleport upon mokuton trigger but it’s very tricky to use because mokuton only lasts 1 hit (and has a annoying cast animation once it triggers). Can be useful in pvp but not that much in pvm.
Positioning the clones to attack a same target that’s not extremely big (aka bosses) is already hard enough without moving too much. Clones don’t really walk up to you then use the skill, they’ll just use the skill at same moment you use it wherever they currently are (if they’re left behind they’ll be using skill at air).
Mokuton also already teleports you to the target that attacked you so what’s really the point of wanting to move faster and use trot / mount?
Not sure if you’re getting the point of the idea.
i would not recommend cata and shinobi in the same build. Seems like a very difficult build with too much weapon swaps and unmounts, too much complications seems very uncomfortable to use.
Its not a difficult build its just a bad build altogether. He won’t be good at any one aspect of the game at all. Would be a waste of a slot in any party.
