Well because MOBA/MMO’s are quite different.

You do have a point but the comparison just doesn’t give enough weight to it.
Probably because they stated from the beginning that they would have started with the fgounder pack and only some month later open it up… here unluckily IMC made the mistake of announcing the free OBT and then without notice turn it into a 3 month paywall founder package… that makes a difference.
by the way is it a Free to Plat title? Because i’ve heard on some channels about game info that it actually is P2P… if that’s it it makes a HUGE difference.
how do you even get EA advantage in MOBAs? when meta changes on every single patch and update which is like monthly.
in a mmorpg is a different story.
