Sorry if i’ve missed this…I’ve searched and I don’t find anyone with this exact problem.
It tries to download this ‘10690_001001.pak’ file and just times out. Error 653…
I’ve deleted the patch folder, reinstalled the game etc. Any ideas?

Anyway, turn off your antivirus. Should do the trick.
Still not working. Made sure all my anti-virus stuff is off.
Hmm usually it works out that way if anything related to the patch problem. Have you tried turn off the firewall as well? Or anything related to that.
Yeah I don’t run much anyway. Game worked fine 100% no problems before yesterday. Fire wall is off, and i tried turning off windows defender as well. I’m stumped.
Same here, and still don’t know any solutions. I’ve tried a lot of things already, even reinstaling the game.

So i watched the folder as this file is being downloaded, it goes very slow and then just times out…
10640_001001.pak file inside the release folder.
Asked a friend who also plays and the only file he has named this is, is 10640_001001.ipf inside the patch folder.
I also have this file, which i’ve tried deleting and steam just re downloads the ipf file.
What exactly is done with this .pak file in regards to the TOS Patcher?
