They need to add a Dark Knight class! I’m not talking about old style final fantasy or new style FFXIV tank Dark Knight i’m talking about the badass job that is a Dark Knight from FFXI, the class that excels in Scythes as its main weapon, and Greatsword as its secondary it’s a DPS at the max (I wouldn’t mind either) The class also uses lower tier black magic and high tier dark magic like draining hp and etc it’s main abities sacrifice it’s hp to deal massive amounts of damage while also having the ability to make its weapon drain hp from foes…this is my ideal class…and if paladin exists…I think dark knight should too…please add one.
Not really. I cannot find any historical references of it unlike paladin.
Thats real life though, mmos are are fantasy they have magic and anything you can think of. Usually in mmos if there is a paladin there is usually a dark counterpart.
Like…Demons and undead zombies don’t exist, but Paladin has an ability called turn undead instantly killing undead. Maybe they have a somewhat relation to real life, but in mmos they are full on fantasy.
I think we could really use a corrupted class in the cleric tree, maybe centered on various debuffs or dangerous double-edged buffs to your party members.
Something like: P-atk is doubled but inflict confusion. Movement and attack speed is vastly increased, but cut HP and defense in half. Stuff like that.
That would be nice as well. I would love to have a melee version too… ;-;
Kinda feel like Bokor is the somewhat answer to dark vs Paladin’s light, although its not a physical class like a Dark Knight might be :d
