Problem persists, and is in fact getting worse:
So I looked at resmon and here is what I found.
Klaipeda server seems to be 52.86.255.9 on a port in the 70xx range. Client also maintains two connections to 52.4.126.228 on 9001 and 9002, which is probably where the auth/chat servers are. There’s a fourth connection from the game client using port 80, no idea what for.
Importantly… notice the line beginning with 0.09 in the above image? If I ping either of the two mentioned game IPs, I get a very steady 90±4 ms. I should be getting close results, with some overhead, from the in-game //ping, but…
At this point I can safely rule out my PC as the cause of the issue. It looks as if there is a problem with the game server that is causing increased latency, and it looks like the problem is getting worse over time, at least it has in the 12 hour gap between my tests.
Please, if any other players are reading this, chime in with your experiences? And to any staff members reading this, please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help investigate this issue. I really want to play my Hoplite but it’s nearly impossible with how bad this lag is.
