You realistically don’t want to go circle 2 Doppel as you’re forced into 2 handed swords at that point, and you’ve put 3 circles of work into spears.
You’re basically getting none of the advantages of either Cataphract nor Doppelsoeldner fully with this build. It is too spread out I would say. A few alternatives would be like this:
Swordsman > Pelt > Hop > Cata > Cata > Doppel > Dragoon
Although this isn’t ideal, it is a bit better, as at least you have Dragoon focusing on spears as well, with Doppel’s Deeds of Valor thrown in there as well, since you seem to enjoy that skill (I do too).
Swordsman > Pelt > Hop > Cata > Cata > Cata > Doppel
This is weird, but you’ll at least get the full advantages of Cataphract, and still be able to use Deeds of Valor as well. Mounting will still be an issue though.
How far along in this build are you? You might want to consider going something along the lines of this if you aren’t too far:
Swordsman > Pelt > Hop > Hop > Hop > Doppel > Doppel
This would actually be pretty decent. It would give you the perks of Finestra, which are always nice. You could got a fairly Strength heavy route with this build and that always feels nice with Deeds.
In the end you are trying to mix some classes that don’t work too well together though. In general Cataphract and Hoplite work best with Dragoon, though Hoplite can also work with Corsair and Shinobi for dual wielding builds. If you do pick Cataphract, it is typically recommended you get to circle 3, which would be just fine, since Doppelsoeldner is pretty much a 2-handed sword only class once you get to circle 2. That is why most of them go Barbarian or Highlander in earlier ranks.
