I usually just queue up for missions/dungeons and then AFK until they pop (takes 5-15 minutes sometimes), but it’s annoying having to constantly tab back to heal my zombies and make sure they don’t die. Starting the instance with no zombies means I’m totally useless to my party.

Heal them. You can’t stop decay on them.
Wish they’d stop the degen in town at least, so I can AFK for a few minutes instead of having to log out.

The Krivis skill Aukuras works on zombies, so depending on your skill level it may totally negate the degeneration. Krivis in general has some good synergy with Bokor, so it’s not a bad choice overall.

Zalciai and Aukuras are both buffs that work well on zombies (though you’ll need a fairly high investment in Zalciai to see a respectable number of crits off your zombies), and Zaibas fits really well on top of the Zombify circle, and it’s a solid way to fill in the cooldown between Effigy uses. 'Course, it’ll be a lot better once it’s not bugged.
