Since we’ll get the reset what will you suggest?
C2-Priest1-Diev1-Monk3-Inquisitor is bad?
Is Monk3 that useless in your opinion?

Point is that everything that you gain at Monk2+3 is hardly worth it.
Oracle/kabba gives you insane survival and is the standard pvp monk build.
Pve wise there are other interesting options, like druid2 for +50% crit rate and an extra decent immunity and sinergy with diev for another extra 20%DPS on non flying static bosses thx to the affix of diev vs plants on top of chrostamata.
Monk 2+3 gives you just a little more dps, if you want to max that druid 2 will just do more damage, even if the build it’s super rare couz pve monks are indeed super rare and most non theorycrafter stick with monk3 for… well… no reason, while oracle1kabba1 is just a beast a really nice overall build with much better utility and survival (c2p2monk1oraclekabbainqui)
That sounds rly interesting. What is there to gain from oracle but Arcane Energy that would help a monk? Would double punch still be the main skill to use? It sounds so sad to just take monk 1
Monk C2 is worth it but not Monk C3.
Monk C2 you obtain
Double Punch will have a 10% Chance of afflicting the enemy with a [Double Punch] Debuff
[Double Punch] Debuff: Recieves 30% Bonus damage with [Strike] Property attacks (Doesn’t stack with God Finger Flick Debuff.)
God Finger Flick will afflict the enemy with a [God Finger Flick] Debuff for 5 seconds.
[God Finger Flick] Debuff: 50% Additional damage from [Strike] Attacks. (Doesn’t stack with Double Punch’s Debuff.)
Monk C2 + Inquisitor
With Breaking Wheel from Inquisitor C1 you can spread these debuffs from Monk C2 but you need the Breaking Wheel Attribute called “Breaking Wheel Additional Damage”
You can’t stack the God Finger Flick debuff with the Double Punch Debuff
Monk C3 you get
In brief
Your rotation would be like this after your buffed with Blessing/Monstrance/Sacrament and so on
i’d like to be atleast Monk2, then what do you suggest between
Cleric2 > Priest 1 > Diev2 > Monk2 > inquisitor
Cleric2 > Priest 2 > Diev1> Monk 2 > Inquisitor
Cleric2> Priest 1 > Diev 1> Monk2 > Oracle1/Kaba1/Cleric3 > Inquisitor
I dont think diev at 1 is enough. Diev 2 gives you aoe silence that blocks mele attacks. Great for survivability
20% cooldown reduction is not that big of a deal.
If you go diev for that might as well go for p2 for sacrament, since it seems to have something to do with pears multihit… Not sure how to trigger and if it does matter to have sacrement or not, but it seems to proc when sacra is on…
I would do this: cleric2 priest2 monk2-monk3/miko/oracle/kabba - inquisitor.
Monk3 mainly for the costume cuz cute or longer one inch.
Miko would be very nice for pvp and great self containing class
Oracle for counterspeel and some other utility
Or
Kabba for r7x that applies to pears
P.S. i main c2 diev2 monk3 inqui and i love it. Priest buffs can be bought, so there is no need for to have it, moonstrance can be scrolled, expensve but can be
Well given that you don’t need Monk C2 for the double punch debuff I think a solid option for anything is:
Cleric 2 - Diev 3 - Monk - Priest - Inquisitor
This way you get all OP statues for party play, res and monstrance, double punch with strike debuff and then anything Inquisitor will give you. Stable support for ET, damage no idea, Ausrine = EZ PVP. I guess it’s fine.
This will work ET well. You got res, got ausie, got heals, and top it of with some dps… I can see this work
Hello, I also have a Monk (C2>D2>M3) and want to add Priest in my build since I can’t reach crit cap without it. My build would either be:
Cleric 2 > Priest 1 > Diev 2 > Monk 2 > Inqui
or
Cleric 2 > Priest 1 > Diev 3 > Monk 1 > Inqui
I’m leaning towards the first one, since my skill rotation doesn’t change; I only added some buffs.
The second build seems interesting as well, with the OP statue, but my skill rotation will change, since a few Monk skills will be gone. If someone has this same build, please give us some feedback.
Hope this helps
Hi, currently using c2 Cleric C2 Priest C3 Monk C1 Inquisitor. The suggestions listed and information posted below are good and I agree with them. If I were to pick one of their suggestions, I’d go with the one who suggested to go for c2 cleric c1 priest c3 diev c1 monk c1 inquisitor. That provides overall utility for PVE/ET and PvP. The upside and downside of several builds have already been suggested as well. If you really want to stick to Monk3 like me it is fine as well, you’d have to wait for the dev team to update Monk3 as the benefits it gets compared to the other builds are minimal and can be ignored, longer and stronger Energy Blast, Longer Duration and Damage for One Inch Punch, Golden Bell Shield which is rarely usefull in PvP. While we were given the Rank Reset Scroll, I opted to skip using it on my Monk3 Inq and hope for it to get updated and fixed like how they fixed the Corsair3 class comparing it to how it was previously. If you do decide to go for the Monk3 Path you can still pull it off both PvP and PvE like I do. While I do private ET runs, we already managed to start Solmiki runs. PvP wise, ever since the Rank8 Update I still manage to average being part of the top 10-20 even if most of the people you play with are the generic Oracle Kabba Inquisitor Full Con Meta Build players. Screenies shown below for proof.
Current Stats and Build.
PvP 5v5 and 2v2 Ranks
While I do hold my own in TBL, I can still feel the bad balance of the game due to physical attacks having a huge disadvantage over magic due to having a lot of options to negate physical damage (block, dodge, pdef) comparing it to magic where only mdef is the only thing that lessens the damage. In my experience, the current meta build ora kabba inq are the hardest foes to fight against due to Counterspell + Revenge + Pears. If you are thinking of using the Reset, think about it first. If you are still trying to level up your character and not there yet, you can try waiting for an update from ktos as they already acknowledged the problems with the monk class and might have some new attributes specifically for Monk3.
I am in this similar boat. I used to be a C2>P2>Monk2 and used reset into C2>P1>Paladin3… And I kind of regretted it.
I don’t get why everyone say getting Paladin3 towards Inquisitor is good…
After I reset to C2>P1>Paladin3 now and playing more today, regrets start pouring in, disheartened and I feel like quitting the game already. Damage is sooo low even with conviction + smite against anything that is not devil/mutant type. I always get rank5 in dungeons now. Before this as C2, P2, Monk1, I will usually get Rank 2 and sometimes even 1 but never the last rank5.
Now I feel like I should have went C2>P2>Monk3 instead of Paladin 3… What is Paladin 3 good for exactly?
Now my only option is to go C2>P1>Paladin3>Monk1…
No more energy blast… Energy blast is really the most impressive looking skill from Monks and the reason I wanted to go Monk3 to begin with.
I know somebody that switched from Monk3 to Paladin3 but is considered better in PvE but for that to work you’ll need to reach rank8 and be an Inquisitor. Conviction works well with the Breaking Wheel and is used mainly for a secondary healer with dps for ET. With your current set up, I’d go for C2 Cleric C2 Priest C3 Paladin C1 Inquisitor for Mass Heal, Revive. You can also go for your current set up with Monk1 then Inquisitor for better dps.
