Any tips on leveling at Lv 170?

I know not many ppl are on this level already, but there were other betas befor this one, so i must ask:

How am i supposed to level from level 170 to 175?

see, there’s a HUGE gap between level 130 dungeon and 175 dungeon, you can do the level 130 for about lv 150, then you won’t have means to get exp anymore beside grinding and questing…

Grinding is not much rewarding, and i see it as a “1~2 levels method”, for when you’re underleveled…

once you get to level 160, there’s a dungeon, but it’s more like a mercenary post mission, it don’t give much exp (like 5% per run), so not much useful…

you can do quests, but soon you’ll get underleveled and will start to need to use exp cards to keep questing, following this method, once you get to lv 170, you’ll run out of quests after completing the lv 179 map (laukyme swamp)

so… what do i do now? have i done something wrong? am i missing something? you are really supposed to grind for 5 freaking levels? and even so, where would you grind it, DP? (would take like a whole week, unless you play like 8 hours of grinding a day)

Looks like you’ve hit “The Wall”, you’ve gotta grind though it. The best way would have been to grind at lower levels and save your exp cards and use them to get though those levels but its too late for you to do that so grind it out.

yeah, currently the best way is saving up cards from lvl 3 to lvl 6? or 7, dunno, and use all of them now.

The ‘tip’, sadly is:
Reroll
Save exp cards this time
Use them to jump the gap
Enjoy the rest of the game

Really, it’s probably faster to reroll a character than slogging through that grind gap.
I had a decently easy farming spot, and in 1 hour of grind (track via squire weapon buff) I got about 15-20% depending on how well grouped the enemies spawn.

Well, you can try out other classes, or a variation on your class path til now (if I do reroll another swordsman, I’m planning to try Highlander 2 Barb 2 as the soloist build)

On the slightly positive note, killing monsters much higher than your level doesn’t have exp penalty, so you can still enjoy scenery for the rest of the game (at lv 170 you should be strong enough to handle even lv 200 enemies)

the game kinda tricky you to get lost at lv 170

once you reach lv 150 and stop gaining exp from lv 130 dungeon how do you go from 150 to 175?

keeping in mind that the level 160 dungeon is like any other lv 100 mission, basically, no dungeon.

at 170 zone there is an area where u can constantly overkill mobs with almost any class. They spawn fast and are easily killed. I will reveal the place once im done there

I dislike people like you, not only you didn’t add anything good to the discussion but you had the audacity to brag about your oh so secret grinding spot, to think that you want to be selfish in CBT and that people will find about it eventually. You know what, I would personally search that place and post it here just to ruin it for you.

I hear you felipe, I was one of the first players to get to the 170 wall, and I late realised why. I used my xp cards to quickly get to 170 , by doing that I hit the said Wall. I cant progress, any sugested grinding map to me takes 35 hours to get each level now and since I picked hunter I have mostly basic attacks and a pet doing 1 damage. So I had to reroll and this time I’m saving my xp cards. Usually saving cards getting to 200 should take a week cause you skip the 170 wall.

i’m not going to reroll, i have like 25 lv 8 cards, but it’s just not enough… it’d take like 3~4 times that ;i

about the spot, most likely he’s talking about the shrooms… but i’m not sure if he’ll even bother coming back to say where it is XD

guess i should start grinding ;i if get to lv 71 with 50% i could use those cards to get to 74 and then do more quests… i haven’t noticed that 184 map before, it’ll make things possible ;i

25 lv 8 cards should barelly give you a level though.

yeah, i saw it now, it’ll give 5M exp, wich is 1 level and ~25% of the next level ;i would need to grind until 72 and 75%

150-165 = demon prisons, at least the first demon prison 2f have insane amount of enemies you can grind on, second one is a bit iffy but if you can handle the trees reliably then it’s good (until Glackuman shows up to ruin your day :< )

Do I really need to save all my exp cards level 3 onwards? I read you only need to keep your cards from 130-166 to jump from 166-174/175 lol. Which info is accurate?

I would like to know that as well. right now I am lvl 103, just used the lvl 5 cards in ferminian suburs, I would like to know when do I need to start saving xp cards to break through this wall? :stuck_out_tongue:

You should start having your card when the moment you hit 154 then grind all the way to 166 on demon prison.

But let’s stay on the topic and discuss about when you actually screw up and you are now level 170 and no quest, where is the best way to level?

You can also shut up about just remake it, this is a thread about how will you continue despite messing up.
I am at school right now so I cant check the maps, do you guys have any good place for 170?

I have also screwed myself by using all my exp cards.
I’m now sitting at 171, and with absolutely no idea what to do.

Prison is soul-crushingly slow, Orange Gibarus are worthless unless you’re the only one there (which will never happen again now) and every other high level map is simply not practical.

This wall is very depressing and it’s making me lose all interest in the game. I don’t have a problem with grinding but this is a timed beta.

IMC games could just think about how we’re suffering and try to be a company that care about their players fun, and just find a way to solve this

(by lowering the lv 175 dungeon to 170, or even easier, making the lv 160 dungeon actually rewardable like any other dungeons ._.)

i’ve noticed there are 2 maps that could help, tyla monastery, lv 183 and verkti square 184, so it might be possible to jump from 173 to 175 just by doing these 2 maps, assuming each would have at least 15 cards, and then you could grind th rest…

or even lv 9 cards <3

anyone who already did those have any info?

if anyone wondered about the cards, i just checked, the first map gives you 16 level 8 cards, and the second one something like that too, level 9 cards are given at lv 187 quests

i just afk’d my life for 2 days and did it…

but i would not recommend, it’s freaking tiring, and you need a lot of free time @_@’

i saved some of the cards from the 168~176 maps, like i already told, if i haven’t i’d be grinding another whole day ;/

here’s the link if anyone wants to see the last 0.1% <3

I have also hit a grinding well. Currently i am 171 and grind on minoses (bulls) at Namu Temple Ruins. U Could also try Roxona Dungeon. Still i need a lot of hours for lvlup, good luck mate.
