Any Tips for Identifying RMTers on the Market?

Market Report function:

A new function for reporting RMT has been added to the Market.
_- The _
_purpose of this function is to report suspected RMT items, i.e. items _
_registered in the Market with incorrect prices with the intent of being _
used in real currency transactions (gold sellers, etc.).
- Each item can only be reported once by the same account.
- After an item is over the certain number of reports, the item will be evaluated and processed by a GM.
- Market report system will also have RII applied similar to Bot reporting system.

Any tips on how to spot RMTers? Specific items that are overpriced and commonly used by silver-sellers? I’m not that familiar with the economy, but I’d like to help pitch in and get rid of obvious RMT sellers

Hard to tell… i think a lot of useless stuff at maxium possible prize could be suspicious

Now i’m worried about our guild awakening service. We use market to transfer silvers to our alchemist because we need the talts for the guild. :frowning:

This is a really bad idea. Like, how are people going to be so sure that something is inflated to the point of it being done for a real money transaction? What if someone is just trying to play the market? ie, someone looks to see if there are any earth plate armors and none are for sale, so they post it at 500k, or 750k? I bought a superior corona rod last night for 1m since I was tired of waiting for one or the recipe to pop on the market, and was too low to go farm one myself. I just think this is going to lead to a further dwindling population. If someone gets warned or banned for something they clearly didn’t do or participate in, it’d cause a really bad taste for me personally.

I’m sure there’ll be people who just report everything just to prove it’s a bad idea.

@STAFF_Ethan I would like to recommend having the market show the name of who is selling at all times… kind of like how it was on icbt except remove the option for anonymity…

that way people will buy less or evade buying from rfedgdsfdsf and buy more from ultra sexy DrRM :smirk:

Act like youre buying an items from RMTers then report them instead.
