I think i know what Wizard need for rank 9.
Warlock 3 : A boost up magic defence or boost up magic attack.
StormMage : A powerful storm that shoot down lightning in an area …
Maybe you haven’t noted that in this game a warlock is a master of dark spells and spirits, eventho even if this would be true will be useless against mob with 4 more k’s of magic defense. Same useless as the whole wizard branch (in terms of damage) in rank 8 content.

I am suggesting stormmage because it can sync well with Cryomancer and Hail from Elementalist as electrocute is the most lousy animation and usage compare to zaibas from cleric…

It was such a unique idea, I hope they pursue some more effective support classes. 9 shielded Hoplites would be so cool.
