Any quest harder than shadowmancer advancement?

if you get shadowmancer, never-ever reset rank… the quest advancement is absolutely insane! if someone sell shadowmancer unlock voucher, i am definitely buy it.

THE QUEST IS SIMPLE… gather traces of shadow in different place… the problem, they are ultimately cannt be find. its already day 2 and i still cannt get A SINGLE TRACE of shadow. people said they spend 5 days to complete the quest to become shadowmancer…

any advancement quest harder than shadowmancer? i bet IMC will sell shadowmancer unlock voucher soon… cause we want it.

There is also this toxic zealot quest. Which makes you wait for the tombstone to be spawn and even better they smack RNG in your face because that tombstone might not be the right one the NPC needs. Great job IMC.

Once you unlock a class in a character, it stays unlocked, you will only have to do, if applicable, the advancement quest.

I haven’t done Shadow mancer or Zealot unlock quests, but Miko is hell on earth.

When the class was released it took me 3 days to complete due to the number of players doing it, we had rolls for Uskis and Orsha spirit.

The second time I did, took me 5 days due to Manahas spirit not showing as it used to when the class release.

My shadow mancer quest is bugged right at start so never managed to do it. zealot is way easier than bulletmarker (i finished both).
real pain in the ass is matador (until the prequest simplification patch which should arrive soon).
Farming for quest mats (have to farm on the questing char, cannot swell or dpe the drops), need too many of those and drop rate is very very low. On if you managed to finish the farming viola Matador master is bugged and your unlocking text doesnt trigger.

Shadowmancer quest doesn’t get tracked in the quest journal if that’s what you think happened.

100% Agree to this. This made players practically praying so hard to the RNGesus 24/7.

Are you sure this is the case with r8 classes as well? I know with hidden classes that it only needs to be unlocked once, but I’m unsure of whether the shadowmancer quest counts as a regular advancement that you would have to do again if you resetted, or if it was exactly like hidden classes.

Hidden classes have to do a (difficult) prequest (once only) and then an advancment quest (not anymore, but they used to).

R8 classes seem to have a mini prequest (just talking to npc’s or interacting with objects) and then a fairly difficult advancement quest…

If anyone could confirm whether r8 classes are unlocked permanently that would be great haha…

edit: nvm, the thing says unlocked so I think you’re right! good news.

Taken me almost 48hrs total to farm all the matador mats…I am gonna be so upset if IMC changes it with the coming patch lol. Albeit i want it easier for new matadors, fuckin hell.

I gave up on matador prequest. cant do mindless farming ithout even knowing exact drop rates. Just know that its rare. I was trying to make a makeshift guide for some players but its too retarded to spend 48 hours farming mindless for it.

Zealot and BM are rather better. There is BM guide here in forums and i managed to make zealot guide (still lacking in concrete timer part).

I am outright disgusted by shadowmancer quest bug.

  1. Interacted with shadow in taniel.
  2. went to chronomancer master.
  3. She doesnt give me anything on SM master and i am stuck right there.

Possible reason for this RC prequest. You can see in my above screenshot, i was basically forced to complete the prequest (I am not buying those overpriced vouchers).
My speculation says, If you started the RC prequest and didn’t complete it before starting SM prequest, the quest gets bugged at chronomancer master part. I tested in 3 of my chars and all got bugged. I don’t want to mess up other chars. Anyways, might be some other reason, but its all speculation and observation on my part. Any other info might help. I ain’t sending any tickets for this. Anything related to hidden quest gets same copy pasted reply for “cannot reveal” even if it is bugged (looks at previously reported bugged nobi and appraiser replies).
And no, the quest didnt get fixed after i completed RC prequest.

I think the right part of the design is to be hard to get, bu on the other side, the wrong part is it being hellish boring as all of the game contents or most of them.

There’s not much point in have lots of content if they don’t differ from most of the MMOs out there.

Mindless grinding, copy and paste events, hell we don’t have automated events except Challenge Mode, which I really wouldn’t call it event. Or Grynas Hills, but heck, what rewards lol.

Wait… I’m a bit confused…

Those unlocked statuses, are they just on one character? Can you have wizard, archer, cleric branch classes unlocked on one character?
Does that mean any class can do the quests, just not able to become the said class?

in the end they all are hidden quests and not advancement quests.
So, it can be done by any char. I also have done chaplain and miko on that char but it seems you need to fulfill the requirement of being a healer class to show Unlock in F1 window. (I am too cheap to buy vouchers). I plan on doing nobi and appraiser on same char too once i get some time for it.

I’m sorry I still don’t quite get it. Are you saying I can unlock miko, chaplain quest with my swordsman class, but if I start a new cleric I can still have it unlocked? Same thing with the new rank 8s?

No, you can only unlock classes on the correct class. Ex: Miko/Chaplain only for clerics.

It is per character, not shared with the team. So if you make a new cleric, you will have to repeat unlocking quests, but if you reset the character that already unlocked the classes, you won’t have to repeat.

Same thing with r8’s.

so… what is the purpose of unlocking shinobi and appraiser on the same character, like @BurningFighter is doing?
