Any other Priests having problems in dungeons?

So I’ve found it really challenging to do my job in dungeons due to a lack of understanding by my party members. More often then not what i get are people scattering, making it difficult to buff, and also ends up being very expensive when you’ve got to recast buffs due to people missing them. The buff that is the biggest problem is revive.

Due to people being spread out if someone misses revive that puts a lot more pressure on me to focus on keeping that one person topped up as I don’t have a safety net. I also end up with parties full of people that don’t know what it does. so when my heals are on cd and i pop revive and peoples health starts dropping (honestly mages seem to be the biggest culprit so far) they start running around in circles which ends up being a waste of time for a few reasons. Namely it causes people to run around trying to attack delaying the death of mobs. It also makes it impossible to try to re buff the group when one person is halfway across the screen and everyone else is huddled. Lastly it also makes it harder to heal them when my heals come off cd as I’ve now got to chase them down. But even with healing I find at least 1-2 people every group seem to never step on the healing squares unless I specifically drop them on them. I also very frequently get people who never step inside my safety zone.

Honestly it’s very off putting to continue leveling a full support character when I end up in pugs where I’ve got to spend 10 minutes explaining the importance of not being completely spread out and to not run when they have the cross over their head. I know I’m probably going to get told to use pre-mades but the exp boost from queing solo is too enticing to give up

if they run…just let them die? if they complain then explain to them. if they dont complain then all good. :stuck_out_tongue:

tell them so stick ASAP
if they dont, f them

Can’t say ive had any of those issues, the group will usually stay together after the mob pull and that’s when I buff them. As for healing tiles I just plop them down on the side of me as I’m hitting the boss from behind, if they want them heals they know where to look and they will get to them quickly.

Safety zone is a issue as a lot of people don’t want to get inside it, so I just cast it on me to prevent knock ups and dmg so I can rebuff without interruption, nothing like loosing 2 heal cast due to getting hit.
