Very very few Swordsman builds get Peltasta 3. It might be viable now thanks to the balance changes, but it is hardly necessary. As for the spear crit thing, that’s Hoplite, not Peltasta, and it is far from necessary. The current meta builds as far as I can tell for Swordsman involve 0~1 ranks in Pelt and 0 ranks in Hoplite.
Wizard 3 Ele 3 should still be quite strong. I’m pretty sure its one of the higher-tier builds at the moment.
I couldn’t tell you whether they’ve been “fixed” or not, but I’ve had no complaints with the spawn rates for any of my characters, leveling solo or in a party, from 1 to 280~.
Gear is freely tradeable between your own characters. If you have a token its effectively freely tradeable between you and other plays as well (assuming you both have token), but you are limited to 30 trades a month. After those 30 (or if you don’t use a token), trading an item will make it bound. Unused trades will carry over to your next token if you activate a new one before the first one expires.
I think your Wiz3 Ele is plenty strong, so outside of that;
Cleric - Any build with Priest 2/Priest 3 is pretty solid right now. Go Priest 3 > Chaplain and you will have very strong support and solid damage of your own.
Archer - QS3 > Falconer 3 seems like a pretty popular build. Ranger 3 > Rogue 3 > Hackapell also looks like it has some solid damage output.
Swordsman - Highlander 3 seems to be outputting the most damage at lower ranks, whereas Doppel 3 is getting a lot of mileage at higher ranks. Mix and match as you like, you can put them together if you want as well to get some pretty snazzy DPS.
Wizard - If you’re interested in playing the long game, a Linker > Featherfoot build has enormous damage potential. The common build seems to be Wiz2 > Linker 2 > Thauma 2 > FF 2. You’ll be incredibly strong at Rank 7/8, but getting there might be a pain in the ass as you don’t get any damage skills til Rank 7. Linker 2 and Thauma 2 will give you excellent support potential though if you are playing in a party.
Keep in mind we have just barely got a huge balance change, so a lot of stuff is up in the air right now. The above is just my impression from reading forums and watching videos, I haven’t tested most of those class combinations myself. You have a while to play around with daily resets, so feel free to mess around and find something you like.
