Any tips for being Dragoon? Stats and skills? I’ve done Fencer and Doppel before, will pure dex will still be better? I’m only interested in pve, pvp is too broken af. Thanks

you won’t need pure dex , Just sufficient unless you do not care about maximizing potential then by all means go pure dex.

I’ve read others are going pure dex for an evasion build w/ pel’s guardian attribute to mitigate the def loss from DoV. I think it makes sense.
To minmax damage potential though I think you can take some points from dex and put them in str and hit enough crit rate through gear (won’t need much since you already have finestra and some dex).
Just how much crit rate are we talking about? Of course at max lvl against highest crit res mons. (Sry i suck at math 
)
i got this build at full dex its pretty strong with critical attack gems
dont believe crit rate from gear is a good idea, where you can go full dex and get those ridiculous gems with 300+ critical attack each.
you also need to discount finestra , since full dex might over cap your crit rate.
Using the bread and butter equipment ( it’s either sissel or glad bands here)
Unless you are aiming on even without chrono thats a 100% crit i would agree at that.
This day chrono and diev are hard to find esp for Content clearing…
i build my characters based on how they perform by themselves., not a fan of building a char based on party setup
my dragoon got full dex and like 580 crit rate with finestra, i got 100% critical attack and attack damage items has like 1.2k critical attack and 1700 physical attack so far and the damage is very good (didn’t bother buying sissels nor glads, would rather spend my silver on attributes and transcendece, not paying 10-13m for a bracelet when i got attributes to enhance and weapons to transcend lol.)
keep in mind that i used stat reset on this char to reset from str to dex and the damage only increased.
it’s all a matter of preference in the end, you could go hybrid or more towards str and still be good, i personally find dex easier 
although crit attack gear is very appealing, you could still go str and get enough crit rate with gear especially on a hoplite, but i just like the dex setup better

yea kinda agree on that. which is why i am advising op full dex is fine until he fit party setup. where there might be a little spill over.
it ultimately a consideration. dragoon is heavy reliant on crit afterall.
by sufficent most likely around 580 crit rate alone without finestra you can push more aim for 720 plus plus with finestra

oh btw the op - i highly suggest you consider go sword 3 hoplite 3 dragoon
i am pelt hop 3 dop goon 2 and tbh i wish i went sword 3, as good DoV is, nothing contributes to more dps than not being knocked down
i consider rank resetting to sword 3 hoplite 3 dragoon 2
that ofc if your main goal is bossing because dragoon is very good at that

I was also considering that path since sw3 PB is like a thing now for DPS even for Dop and Fencer. Might as well think about it thanks. How will it fair though in ET, Dop3 would probably better but ofc at some point I want to be able to ET (ref to the sw3 goon variant)
I’m maining a Fencer now but it is boring me. and I was looking at Doppel and Dragoon maybe Lancer too but am not much of a fan of mounted classes. Shinobis require too much setup.
