Anti-Bot Suggestion

I have a suggestion for the bot problem.
The Idea
The idea is having a test. Both the reported and reporting party will have to be affected.
A new button named “Report and Test” (or a better name) will be added to the menu when clicking other characters.
It happens like this.
- A player reports another one as a bot. Only applicable in fields and dungeons. Using it in wrong places will put it in a cooldown and the reporter will do the test alone.
- Both the reporter and reported will have a “Test” debuff shown on the screen. The debuff will last for 10-20 mins. The debuff should be somewhat more noticeable than the others.
- After the alloted time, the test will begin. A non-aggro monster that is too strong will show up to each one of them that they shouldn’t touch at all. The monster will follow the character though. The monster will only last a moment. The monster will only attack the player if it gets hit multiple times by normal attacks (since bots for now aren’t using offensive skills).
- Slain player won’t drop any gem or things lost in normal death. Slain player will answer captcha for the first to fourth deaths (or some other number). If answered correctly they will be revived with full hp and mp. If answered incorrectly, they will experience the effect of a normal death. A death counter will also go to the team of the player everytime he dies in this manner. The counter still counts even if you pass the test after correctly answering the captcha after death.
- Failing the fifth test and onwards will no longer give you a captcha but send you to jail, too much jail times will give permanent banning.
- If succesful, the reporter will receive bounty for bots jailed like a certain percentage of their silver. The bounty is only for jailed ones, which means they have been reported and failed the test a number of times. The “Report and Test” will not have a cooldown.
If it fails, the Reporter’s “Report and Test” will have a long cooldown. 2 hours maybe. The one reported will receive a “Tested” buff that will last for 4 hours (more or less, depends on what you think is right). The buff will allow the player not to receive any tests.
Reporting a player with the “Tested” buff will put the “Report and Test” button to a cooldown. It is as if the reported player answered the test correctly. The reporter will still have to deal with the test. - Having a large number in the counter for deaths in the test will get the player a flag.
Possible changes and others:
- In step 3, where the monster shouldn’t be attacked. It can be changed to where a monster should be hit in a specific number. If not, the monster will still kill you. There should be an acceptable range in the number of attacks. Though this will affect AFK players.
- The monster should look or be named the same like any monster in the area. It would just have a different color like rainbow or something.
Q: What if I’m just AFK?
A: The monster won’t attack you. It means you won’t die and nothing will happen since the monster is not aggresive. If step 3 is changed, then please don’t AFK in areas that will allow the Test.
Q: How about my pet’s attacks?
A: Only player normal attacks will be counted.
Q: Won’t this be easy to counter since in the end it has a captcha which other bots easily counter?
A: That is where the death from the test counter comes in. The GM’s will be the ones to judge the flagged players.
Q: Why is the reporter also doing the test?
A: This is to avoid abuse or outright bullying.
