Ah… Um… Hm…
I honestly don’t know how I feel about this. Basically, as blunt as it is, the only reason people will hate this is because A.) It looks like botting, B.) Because they feel it’s morally incorrect to do it, or C.) Because they don’t have two computers and/or the money to do this themselves… Also option D.) All of the above.
Putting my own morals aside… Fact is, though, you’re not violating the rules, and you have a way to prove it by explaining your process via video to the GMs demonstrating what you’re doing (you’re probably gonna get bugged with requests from the technologically-inept players now, too, though). If they change the rules thereafter, then so be it. Considering you said you’ll abide by such changes to the rules, if they happen, then I see nothing wrong here. Of course my opinion won’t matter here, but it’s also a thin line…
There’s also the factor that if the staff starts putting up restrictions on “unfair advantages” because of people actually having the money to do things with their hardware, then they’re going to be putting on several more restrictions thereafter…
Good luck, man. Although, really, if they were going to punish you, they probably would have done so by now. They’ve most likely determined that you’re not botting, but, don’t be surprised if rules are changed in the future due to the complaints. Although, if they do, I will be left wondering why they won’t also ban people with MMO mice that happen to have auto-key functions built in at a hardware (or software that came with the mouse) level…
