the main problem that is causing that much discussion is that the bug was reported, but the answer was delayed
they’re always late, you should have seen in the closed beta when you could script your client and get any quest of the game at any level, how many times you want
ppl went crazy, with things like circle 10 classes and over 30 ranks, by re-doing quest classes
there were even hybrid classes, with people getting quests from another branch
it was anarchic chaotic beautiful hahaha

for me, I had 1 battle bracelet, and about 15 junk low-value monster crystals about the same in glit helms as I was lving my alt from 45-50 in Tenet f1. I hope they leave the battle bracelet… I was just lving a new char and figured I got lucky.

Most of hardcore players knew there was going to happen a DPK change yesterday. And it indded happened.
When I logged on, the drop chances were significantly increased, so me and my brother spent the entire afternoon farming those items because our chars need them. And because we thought that that was the DPK change. There was no note on the DPK post that goes: “Hey guys, we might have messed up, so please double check for anything abnormal, even if you guys couldnt know better”.
Now, not only we are informed that you messed up, that we wasted hours of farming, that that wasnt the real DPK AND players will be punished for YOUR mistake?! Me and my brother didnt exchange items nor sold them in the market, as said previously, we actually needed them for our chars. Therefore, it shouldnt be a ban? Yet, we did drop a lot of those. So our accounts will be suspended for couple o week/months or so? How is that any fair? How are the player supposed to know when you guys make a mistake?
And what if the player did trade em away? Its not our case, since we needed the items, but the prices for said items are an absurd! 500k a piece, for the low level stuff? Low level stuff! We thought that the DPK change was exactly focused on lowering those absurd prices. If i had more time to farm, i certainly would have sold the rest of them on the market. How is that a bad thing? Lowering prices so more people have access to regular items is a bad thing now?
I find it impressive the way you treat your own fanbase. If we were trying to legit harm the server, we would be hacking and activating bots and other stuff like that. We dont because we actually enjoy the game. But telling us that you messed up big time AND that players will be punished… certainly is a way to get your fanbase to move to another game.
Edit: BTW the economy IS already broken. By increasing the drop chances, you could have fixed it. Eg: one piece of the Nyx set is worth around 2 to 3 million silver… thats basically a token! A token for a single piece of armor! That wont even be your end game armor! Is this the ““economy”” that you want to protect? Is this the economy you want for your players and call it “fair marker”? You guys really should study a bit more bout economy

That’s why the rollback is a better solution. All imc have to do is compensate players enough for forgiveness. And never mistake about it again.
Yeah losing battle bracelet is better than everything else you got during exploit (silver, recipes etc)
I really don’t get when post-patch Sissel is only useful for what class? Inquisitor? It’s rare drop for sure but BB+SB still messed up item that need rebalance ala Agny necklace.
My point is gameplay wise they are even worse than post-nerf Agny now there is no reason to buy them regardless how cheap the price except for display on AFK shop…

all these problem is because of galok? monster that drop lv 40 item, which is required to make lv170 item and that item we will use untill who knows when.
