Well, my favorite anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica/Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and I recommend it for anyone interested in the Mahou Shoujo genre.

People that know me on the forums most likely would think I’d recommend something with multiple lolis in it.

But nope, my favorite anime series of all time is Hajime no Ippo.

Only because the only thing I like more than lolis is boxing.

One of my favorite Anime’s because of the amazing balance between comedy and drama despite being only 12 eps. I didn’t like the destination it stopped at, but it was a good ride.

Same, I’d love to show girl what I’d like to do to her inside of my mind.

  • Hunter X Hunter 2011

  • Berserk (Trilogy. Original anime is fine too, but Trilogy shows a bit extra at the end of the third movie)

Those are my two favorites of all time.

Yuma (my avatar) from World Trigger reminds me of Killua from HxH, so I’m watching that right now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Though they stopped creating it, because of negative reviews and stuff. I saw a lot of people complaining about the main character not being powerful, but he’s more of a strategist, than an actual fighter, even though he participates in the fighting. Which in my opinion is way better than in most shounen anime, because it is very strategic. Fights and preparation for fights are explained in-depth, unlike anime like Fairy Tail, where fights are pure power struggle and characters come up with new moves out of nowhere.

Characters have clear strengths and weaknesses in battles, which is what makes World Trigger exciting and fresh for me, same as HxH, but I think HxH is just much better overall.

I’m just getting sick of shounens like Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, One Piece…where it’s the same thing over and over. Powerful guy shows up, then main character either loses and comes back with newfound power to wipe the floor with the bad guy, OR they win the fight in the end by summoning the mystical power of being pissed off.

Not the case in HxH, nor in World Trigger. Don’t get me wrong, though, I still enjoyed most of the major shounens, it’s just that I’ve grown out of them lately.

I can suggest a bunch of other anime, but I don’t think they’re really binge watching type, as they have one or two seasons. Oh, what the hell, I’ll suggest some anyway.

  • Code Geass
  • Anything from the Fate series
  • One Outs
  • Air Gear
  • Darker than black
  • Kaze no stigma
  • Kaiji (Unique art style, might need to get used to it, but the anime is awesome)
  • Aldnoah.Zero
  • Trigun (Depending on your sense of humor, might be extremely funny. It killed me, Vash is so funny for me xD)
  • No game no life
  • Guilty crown
  • Akira (movie)
  • Speed Grapher
  • Guyver, the bio-boosted armor
  • Ao no exorcist
  • Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

I avoided suggesting FMA brotherhood, death note, attack on titan…etc since they’re crazy popular and most people watched those or at least know about them.

Another memorable anime that I watched a long time ago was Hikaru no Go.

Amazing anime if you like playing the board game “Go”. You’ll understand “The plays” better if you know how to play the board game and have done some yourself against friends etc. Same as if you’ve never played a certain video game before you won’t truly understand the hype of “The plays”, if you’ve never played before.

Nonetheless, you can watch the anime and also play a Go board game simulator online to learn the game.

My anime choice would be One Piece but i don’t think you would like to watch 700+ episodes

So just watch To aru series:
-To aru kagaku no Railgun both seasons
-To aru majustu no Index both seasons

hey thanks to this thread I have a reference when I need a break from kdramas lol
I’m not updated with anime, but I like re-watching Hana Yori Dango or Nodame Cantabile (both have drama versions as well)–highly recommended if you’re into the shoujo genre
